Presumably these were on sale at an inflated price through October (when hardly anyone buys a tree) so that they can claim they're half price now when most trees are bought. Dishonest pricing by the retailer.

    £80 on a Christmas tree 🥵

My wife was on gumtree yesterday and someone is selling a second hand artificial tree for £400, original price £800!

I'm just putting up my Xmas tree just now, the box says I paid £10 quid for it in Matalan in 2000. How the other half live!

Mine was out of stock in the store so no alternative.

It's so good that so many people can now see through the tricks retailers use to con you into believing you're getting a deal.
Still plenty more clueless people around to convert though...

I doubt anyone outside of HUKD knows about this, where else is there even discussion. Unfortunate.

£29.99 at Sainsbury's for a prelit 6ft tree, was going to make a post but couldn't be bothered so didn't take a picture. Was in white rose leeds, all trees and decorations heavily discounted.

Can these be planted outside after Christmas? My last one looks exactly the same as last year ?

Got the 7ft one with the snow covering. Looks very authentic at a great price!
  21. Clipper's avatar
Same every year. Just the usual price. Quality is okay though and much better than the crappy argos ones.
  22. MM0SDK's avatar
I want to get the snow covered one but afraid it will melt before it gets here.

3rd year putting up the 7ft Canadian Fir tree after getting in a similar 'deal' in 2016, flocking is lovely and has plenty of years life in it.

Flocked with unicorn dandruff? Only viable explanation for that.

We bought the 7ft Canadian Fir. It's stunning! No gaps ... It actually looks like the stock photo!

Awful delivery service Mine was meant to be delivered yeaterday to my place of work...no sign. They suggested leaving it with a neighbour should they try to deliver when no one was there. I work in a school so that was a no no! Told them I would call back and complain should that happen...5 minutes after I had a refund of £4...with no message. Needless to say I won't use them again!

Must admit when I saw the non sale price of these in store a few weeks ago my first thought was ‘who in their right mind would pay £100 for a plastic tree’. Guess I was right
