4.7/5 Amazon reviews

  • Jump In and Out of the Game: The hinge on the side of the strap means you can simply tilt the VR headset up to exit the game, and tilt it down to jump back in. The strap is also suitable for players who wear glasses.
  • Game in Comfort: The rear cushion reduces pressure on the back of your head, while the soft memory foam and faux leather design ensures comfort.
  • Lie Back and Play: The rotating knob on the back is flush with the headband so you can even play when lying down on your bed or sofa.
  • Find the Perfect Fit: Adjust the size using the knob on the back and adjust the angle of the glasses through the side hinge to find the perfect fit for you.
  • What You Get: Anker 511 Head Strap for Oculus Quest 2, 18-month warranty, welcome guide, and friendly customer service.

Great price, but would fully recommend getting a halo style head strap instead - a lot more comfortable! I'd recommend the Bobovr M2 Pro or if you can stretch even further the Bobvr M2 Plus. Make sure you install at least one of the included rubber honeycomb pads on the back to stop is slipping.

Granted totally different price bracket to this strap posted, but if someone is really needing comfort, go for one of the above.

Edit: I'm a glasses wearer (edited)

Great looking alternative to the official "elite" strap which is notorious for having it's arms snapping over time (edited)

Yeah, it’s got a 2 year warranty so get a replacement. I got mine sorted out a while back.

Seems like a solid price of kit for only £20.
    Have some heat OP!

Considering it's Anker, I'm surprised this doesn't have a battery pack attached!

Does anyone know if the VR Power battery pack rebuffreality.com/pro…r-2 is compatible with this head strap?

yes it will but looks uncomfy look at the kiwi design head strap with battery its great very comfy

I have the Kiwi version and can definitely confirm they’re well worth it over the standard, especially at this price.

Need one that avoids the brittle bar at the top of the headset. Mine snapped off so this is no good.

Fantastic price, I have a few Anker products and they are usually good value. I was eyeing up some unbranded eBay ones which were more pricey than this - so glad I waited!

Well worth a punt as my sons first party elite strap cracked like everyone else's!

Did you get replaced? My new one seems more flexible and pops apart rather than snapping

One reviewer mentions it's 'not for wearers of glasses'. Although Anker's blurb say that it IS suitable. The Kiwi version seems to get the thumbs up from those wearing glasses but, is twice the price. (edited)

I think that review is more looking at the flip up front (you should be fine with glasses in normal use). Personally, I've found that every headset and/or strap has some impediment from glasses and it just means a tad extra care taking it on or off.

Anyone know if this fits (comfortably) those of a larger cranium persuasion like me? I have the elite strap at the mo and it is past the last ratchet on my big old bonce. Still too tight. I'll bite if this is bigger.

Not sure on the Anker one, but bought a similar one & it suited the larger bonce more than the smaller. My 13 year old couldn't use it, so had to go back to the original.

Great price for this. Although the flip up headset seems a good idea, I found with a third party variation of this i got it made it more uncomfortable. I had to return it. Everyone’s head size and shape is a little different though, so maybe worth trying this one.

Thanks, ordered! Would have preferred a halo style one but can't see any for this price.
