    "free collection"

What a world we live in where retailers find it necessary to say that if you contact us to place an order then come into our shop to collect it, we won't charge you any extra for that.

Yeah. They've pushed me away with their greed. I used to get it at least once a week (sometimes more depending on work) with sides and drink. I stopped when they decided to start charging for delivery. Pure greed.

Stopped ordering from our Papa John's as the delivery drivers now don't knock on the door! They will now ring you when outside and demand a tip! I'm now paying £2.49 for delivery You're having a laugh if you want a tip now

Past 3 times we've tried to use Papa John's the payment processor freaks out, takes your money but no order gets created and we spend the next hour trying to sort that out instead of eating.

Fair enough, this happens, but when we called them they said "oh we know about the issue" SO WHY DO YOU LET PEOPLE PLACE ORDERS??? KFC had this same issue, but the funds got immediately released so I could just walk in and buy that way. I was locked out of £80 from trying to buy pizza and it almost ruined our evening.

Papa John's need to go back to their old website and app, this one is causing issues across the board that they clearly don't want to fix. (edited)

Ah the joys of using contractors and outsourcing to create you I.T. systems. Then when something goes wrong. Nobody knows how it works or how to fix it.

Our kids love these as an occasional treat.
Far better than our local Pizza Hut.
Don't charge anymore for their deliveries than anyone else near us tbh plus it's their own del staff so no 2nd party extras to fork out for.
