It's a beast. Equipped with the blazing-fast M1 Max chip, for work or play, Apple's 2021 MacBook Pro promises groundbreaking performance and amazing battery life. The 120Hz ProMotion HDR display makes everything feel super fluid and responsive on-screen, while the six-speaker sound system fills the room with its punchy bass. All this, along with versatile connectivity options and more pixels than ever before. "Pro" doesn't even come close to grasping how much power this notebook puts in your hands.
Keep in contact
Thanks to the MacBook Pro's onboard 1080p HD camera and three-mic array, this device, once connected to Wi-Fi, will let you take part in video chats or virtual meetings, enabling the fun of the office to come to you.

Apple M1 Max Processor
Apple's M1 Max chip is a whole other level of power. Its 10-core CPU is up to 2-times faster than the processor found in the previous 14" MacBook Pro, helping you power through CPU-intensive tasks like complex spreadsheets or 3D rendering. And when it comes to graphics, the Pro is up to 2.9x faster. The 24-core GPU makes video editing and graphics-intense tasks a cinch, and you'll be able to edit 8K HDR ProRes content while on battery with this powerful chip.

What is RAM?
RAM (Random Access Memory) is different to the permanent storage provided by hard disk drives (HDD), solid-state drives (SSD) or memory cards in your equipment. RAM is used by your device to temporarily store data to carry out everyday operations. The more RAM your machine has, the faster you can expect it to open and run programs.

Maximum performance
Featuring a massive 32GB of RAM, this computer is comfortable running lots of complex tasks at once, and you won't see any obvious lag or slowdown.

Easy on the eyes
The first MacBook to feature Apple's ProMotion technology, the screen can refresh up to 120 times per second, giving you smoother scrolling, improved responsiveness and crystal-clear visuals. Twice as fast as the refresh rates on the previous Macbook Pro, it'll adapt to whatever's on-screen; ramping up performance when you need it most, and preserving battery when you don't.

Magic Keyboard
Doing away with the Touch Bar, Apple's updated Magic Keyboard now features a full-height function key row, along with the tactile feel of mechanical keys that pros love. It includes new keyboard shortcuts for Spotlight, Siri, Dictation and Do Not Disturb. And Touch ID has a new, tactile ring that guides your finger for a fast, easy, secure way to unlock your Mac.

Solid State Drive
The 1TB Solid State Drive (SSD) in this computer gives you the capacity to store your documents and media, while ensuring speedy and dependable access to your files and programs. With read speeds of up to 7.4GB/s (two times the previous generation), you can open 8K videos instantly or store hundreds of thousands of RAW photos all at once.

Liquid Retina R display
Featuring 1000 nits brightness, the new Liquid Retina R MiniLED display on the MacBook Pro delivers deep blacks and bright whites. HDR content comes to life in photos, videos and games, allowing you to experience more true-to-life colours with realistically vivid details.

A battery that just keeps going
A single charge lets you watch up to 17 hours of video content or up to 11 hours browsing online. And, for the very first time, MacBook Pro also comes with Fast charge, giving you up to 50% battery life in just 30 minutes.

Connecting your other devices
Transfer photos and videos with an SDXC card reader. Connect to TVs or displays with HDMI output. Listen using a 3.5mm headphone jack that detects and automatically adjusts for high‑impedance headphones. Connect to high-speed peripherals or displays with three Thunderbolt 4 ports. And fast‑charge using the quick‑releasing MagSafe 3 port.

Additional information: manufacturers often update their Operating System (OS) software over the course of a device's lifespan – this means that your product might ship with a more advanced OS than specified.

You can get the 16 inch M1 Max for £2670 brand new from laptops direct. This M1 Max in this 14 inch model is cut down by 8 GPU cores which is quite substantial. The 16 inch has 32 cores versus the 24 in this. (edited)

Also worth mentioning if you wanted to save some money, about £349 you could get the laptop in as new condition (grade A) with CeX. They provide 2 year guarantees with everything. Bought AirPods Max, and a MacBook Air (for someone else) from them in grade A and they were literally in new condition. No scratches whatsoever as I’m pretty sure CEX are strict when it comes to making an item submitted, grade A.
