    How do you know this?
Just because you are familiar with the Apple brand cable specs or should I be looking for.something in the spec?

First thought is even at 10 quid it is still carrying an apple premium double what non apple equivalent is, but could do with a decent fast charge cable. Just got.iphone 14 -.so one in the box, other than that i have older cables from all over the place and brands.

better to get a usb-c cable that supports Display out too, so you can connect your ipad to a usb-c monitor if you have one
    for about £10
this is just a charging cable reading the reviews

"It is durable quality and packing looks genuine. But charging power is not like of 100w cable. Tried to charge my HP devices with no luck. Video on usb C didn't work either which normally all good USC c cables does."

something like this is better , does video out too. although they are generally a little thicker.

It IS a 100 watt cable, and very few monitors have USB C based display port!

Nothing special about this cable. There's better for less.

Link for a 2m white cable that supports 87w charging?

Anker varient is 1.8m and £8. I think this might be better, on balance.

You will want the MFI USB cables then that won’t throttle.

    Ordered thanks.

It says 12Gbps in the spec. Am I missing something, those who say this is a charging only cable?
    A57ton's avatar
It’s marketed by Apple as a charge cable because that’s it’s primary focus, but yes it does data as well.

If you’re buying a cable for high speed data, they have thunderbolt options. (edited)

Be careful with these. Not gonna vote cold or talk smack about this specific listing but have had non genuine cables advertised as legit Apple products from Amazon before. Same thing with SD cards.

Were they actually sold by Amazon/Apple? I didn't think you could third party sellers selling Apple products anymore.

Looks like it doesn't support DP Alt mode.
