    B5 was (still is IMHO) ONE of the best, if not the best Sci-Fi ever made.

    Great cast (sadly many no longer with us, having passed, mostly way to young)
    Great characters and a lot of humour, as well as action & drama.

    I was trying to hold out for the Blu Ray release but I might just take the punt.

    I'm watching the second series again on DVD while I follow a podcast which has mostly newbies watching it for the first time. It's great listening to them starting to get really involved in the series when they were very sceptical in the beginning.

    Watched the road home last night and not bad but preferred the TV Shadow ships.

    I thought The Road Home was a bit disappointing, especially the writing. Such a cliche ridden plot was not exactly J. Michael Straczynski's best work.

    The Blus should look ever so slightly crisper, but fiddling around with discs isn’t that convenient for TV shows, I find. The image quality on this (I’m part way through S2 so far) is so much better than my DVDs I don’t care.

    The reboot is on hold but there's an animated movie with all the surviving original cast coming out.
