Yes, depending on the game, the Xbox cross region posts have proved problematic of late, the recent MS store changes have really botched my tools and they need some work to fix, focusing on my health though at the moment (believe it or not) so I don't have the headspace for it, I am however looking for the standout deals and will post as I come across them...

I’m not sure why they’d bother advertise them being “on sale” but then be unavailable, but as a huge MGS fan, the news just came out recently that Konami has had to remove MGS 2 and 3 from digital sites this month in certain regions due to using licensed footage in some of the cutscenes. I believe it is the ones where it uses real-life Cold War/army stuff, so a warning went out last month to quickly buy them. Apparently, a new, updated collection of the remasters could be coming out soon, either with MGS4 finally being included on non-PS3 systems, or just single titles as it is known an outsourced company is working on an MGS3 remaster. Unfortunately, you may need to source a disc edition if you have an XBox with a disc drive.

Different methods depending on console, sale and region, it does vary. With this one, no, just adept at doing this lightning fast with years of HUKD practice. Largely use scripts and workarounds for PSN that have been devised over time with a number of other HUKD users' input. I know what I am doing but some are better coders (edited)

Def overwatch legend edition for 12 quid... Last night that was 50....awseome game and not a new one coming out till 2023

You can buy skyrim for £9.99 then the new upgrade for £15..so you get the new anniversary edition for £25. Not sure if anyone's noticed that? Anyway might be of use to someone (I picked up skyrim for a tenner in this sale anyway)

If you have game pass he played a good one the other day kill them with fire (not as violent as it sounds ) just a game where you kill little spiders but it was actually quite fun and he completed it on his own

Another vote for Lego City Undercover. The Lego games generally are good for the younger ones. Marvel, Star Wars, whatever they're into. There are a few points that need a bit more timing to get past, cue frustration and "Dad I need help!", but they can still get plenty of fun out of it. I bought it for my son who was 6 at the time, along with the Star Wars ep 1-6 set.

A lot of replay possibility too. He likes to play split screen multiplayer with me, he calls it cops and robbers where we just chase each other in various vehicles. (edited)

GOTG and Riders Republic tempt me, massively.

Quake seems like a good price, for those without Gamepass

I believe you could buy the game "as a gift", setting the recipient as your own email address, and then provide the code to your daughter (or redeem it on her account) on Christmas day.

There's an example of gifting on the xbox website, just select "Enter email address" rather than "choose from friend list" at that stage. news.xbox.com/en-…ay/

I haven't done this myself, but maybe someone else could confirm this.

As mentioned, use the "buy as gift" option to purchase on your account via xbox.com which will email you a code to the address of your choice (and will also be visible on your account orders somewhere) which can then be redeemed on her account which will unlock the game. If you've access to the Xbox, put it on her account the night before and set it downloading so it's there and ready. I do this all the time to use Microsoft Rewards to buy games on secondary accounts that I then redeem on my main account. And I'll be doing shortly to buy THPS1&2!
