Has anyone had experience of using these? What is the ease of use/quality like?

I have three, good cost effective solution though I also like them with the rotating base.

I’ve had these for as cheap as £14. Be aware Amazon are now charging for cloud storage of clips though you can get round that by buying the sync module (not needed for these) with a sd card.

The whole blink range is great. The only issue is that they make an audible click when they start recording!

It means that when bike thieves go into my shed, they hear it and leg it before the recording starts. Plenty of videos of fresh air

TBH its probably better that the thief was spooked by the camera, rather than you losing your posessions and having to hope the police get it back!

Lots of reports of police failing to investigate, even if there is clear footage (and there is no guarantee the footage would be clear enough to identify the thief anyway)

Got one with the pan/tilt base recently to keep an eye on the cat while away for the weekend, and check he was eating from his automatic feeder (he was!)

Worked great. NB - I don't leave it plugged in at other times as don't want cameras inside the house, but this is good if you do. If you have a sync-2 module (+ a USB memory stick) then you can record without paying a monthly subscription (with the caveat of course that the footage is stored somewhere in your house rather than safely in the cloud) You get a trial of the blink-plus subscription with it - but according to my app they've FINALLY put an end date on the trial - which will run out later this month. (I think I've had this "trial" going for more than a year now with my blink outdoor cameras)

My plan is to use it as a chime for the blink doorbell I'm meaning to install. Will probably just put a sticker over the lens or something.

You can also use Alexa devices like the Dot as a door bell.

Assuming they need a hub and can't work standalone? Thinking of one for a motorhome when not in use.

You can pay for cloud subscription if you don’t want a hub
