I've been a Chester zoo member for the last 2 years. Great day out. If you aren't familiar with the layout its unlikely you'll see everything as it's a big place. On my second visit we just about managed it as we knew where everything was. But in terms of seeing everything, we always seem to see something "new" on another visit.

Whilst we really enjoy it, the only criticism is the limited choice and quality of the food available. So if possible, bring your own lunch. (edited)

Asda did 20% off for mothers day once but did not do the same for fathers day.

So I pointed out this was discrimination and they allowed me to go down and get 20% off

We had just had a baby so loaded up two massive shopping carts with over £340 worth of stuff (like Pampers) and it came to about £230 once all the offers were taken into account.

Can anyone actually get to the payment stage? Website seems to be crashing constantly at that point for me but this is a good deal

Any suggestions for cheap accommodation nearby please? Don't fancy driving back & forth 4 hours each way on the same day!

Try a premier Inn. There's always loads around and you can order by price to find the cheapest near to where you're going.

Or go to somewhere nearer? There's a few different zoo offers for Mothers day on here at the moment,
