About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
was surprised to see this cracker of a bold red reduced so heavily.
i bought seven bottles - wasn’t going to miss this deal!
The Tannat vine creates rich, juicy dark fruit flavours with mineral notes and a full-bodied taste. Yet with the Uruguayan vineyards so close to the Atlantic Ocean, a cooling sea breeze creates a perfectly balanced and wonderfully fresh finish. A beautiful accompaniment to beef, duck and cheese.

sorted by£6.50 isn't horrendously cheap.
And you're right about cheap wines being full of chemicals... As are all expensive wines!
Water or H2o is fairly abundant in it. That's a crazy chemical that one. And...
As it was a bit too wordy for me, I've just copied:
Chemical Properties of Phenolic Compounds in Red Wine
The pulp, skin, seeds, and stems of grapes of the Vitis genus are relatively rich in nonflavonoid compounds.19 Polyphenols are the main phenolic compounds extracted from grapes during the winemaking process, initially obtained by the crushing of the fruit, and intensified by the maceration and pumping-over processes during fermentation.
The total amount of polyphenols in red wines has been estimated to range from 2000 to 6000 mg/L,20 as shown in Table 1. The main bioactive polyphenols in red wines are notably flavanols, flavonols, anthocyanins, and resveratrol.21 Flavonoids, which account for over 85% of the phenolic components in red wine, include different molecular families such as flavonols [eg, monomeric (catechin, epicatechin), oligomeric, and polymeric compounds (proanthocyanidins, also called condensed tannins)], flavones, anthocyanins,1 flavan-3-ols, catechins, and epicatechins.
Chemicals everywhere!
It makes me laugh that people throw that word around like it's a bad thing. (edited)
Cheap chemicals are full of wine

If this is pretty awful, then £3 to confirm (in the interest of science - as is all my interactions with alcohol) is a fairly cheap experiment. If it's fairly decent, then you'll be extremely emotionally fulfilled!
I would rather pay a little more for this year's model. It will feature the latest grapes, and the newest cork technology.
So the steeper the country the better the wine, Tibetan red or white anyone?
Cheap wines are full of chemicals...
What's a little roundup between friends?
I tried it and it's not bad and at £3 it's a bargain ... Heat added (edited)
Why? And where's the "Newetherlands"? Next to the Oldetherlands?
It's not the normal price. It's normally 6 or 7 quid. They havent changed it. Just discounted it. A deal!
But it's not an overly cheap wine. Just discounted. (edited)
You should set aside any snobbery and take a closer look at the wines Lidl and Aldi reduce to clear (typically £3.99 at the end of a Lidl wine promotion, ready for the next), especially less well-known appellations.
...or not, and leave more for the rest of us, up to you.
Agree re the mug buyers / wine snobs. Aldi are obviously knocking it out at this price to free up shelf or warehouse space as they'll no longer be selling it.
Wine is effectively poison anyway
Cheap fulls and chemicals of wine
but this is £2.99 a bottle
You won't like the amount of Dihydrogen Monoxide they put in them then.
You need to be more specific. We're all made up of chemicals. Didn't you know? The humourless mods apparently didn't!
What chemicals are the devil !!! Would you put this in your body !! You monster
(P.s I fully agree with you and this is the chemicals found in a all natural strawberry haha)
I don't like paying more than about £6 for a bottle of wine - most taste OK.
I might have to have a trip to Aldi tomorrow if it's available locally.
Yes, nationwide, clearing stock so may not be any in your local but if they have some it will be this price.
Your point is ?
What, next you will be telling me alcohol is a drug........
Nope...your body your game....
You understand what they meant, though. Everything is a chemical, sure, but you also don't want to be ingesting cheap and dodgy stuff.
If you go to a restaurant in Uruguay, a wine or a Coca Cola bottle costs about the same (and the meat is the best in the world).
It’s also not difficult to find good wines for less than €5 in Italy.
Thank you.
Back at ya!
Is that accurate , if so wow …
Nice post
