    This is the RAM I need for my Legion T5 system but 64GB is overkill for me. Think 32GB was around the £55 mark when I checked yesterday

    I'm still on ddr3 though (and ddr2 and sdram). If I had a system that needed ddr4 I would get this.

    I'm sure I read in another memory that motherboards didn't handle the 3rd and 4th sockets well, so 2*32 was better than 4*16. Any experts that can confirm this?

    My current system has 96GB of DDR3 in the form of 12*8GB. At this configuration the memory runs at 800MHz triple channel. Apparently, if I remove 1/3 of the memory so it is dual channel, it will then run at 1333MHz.

    Old tech I know, but it cost £133 with 12C/24T. I let the missus worry about the leccy bill (edited)

    I've have heard this multiple times not sure haven't tested on my system yet. As long as I could run 4x ram sticks at 3200MHz. I'm using XMP Profile 2.
