I'm doing battlefield not enough of my friends are getting it even though "they were all excited about it" and i have been looking forward to skyrim all year so is a great deal for me.

My guess would be that most people consider Revelations will not hold it's £40 price tag very long, whereas Elder Scrolls, preowned, was, until the re-release on classics, holding well despite being a very old game (2006 I believe?) for the 360. The odds of Skyrim dropping in price much below £35 this year are not great.

By contrast, I fully expect to be able to get Assassins Creed Revelations sub £20 before the end of year.

Trading a new game for something that holds value or will not drops in value = heat
Trading for a game by a publisher whose games often drops in price rapidly? = cold

Just my idea anyway....

Managed to complete 21% of Uncharted 3 last night in 1hr 53 mins..and was just taking it easy!!!. Its a shame games developers are steering us towards the multiplayer as opposed to longer campaigns. Thats what Skyrim is for...good old fashioned campaigns. Oh, almost forgot..if you dont know already..you have to use Sony's new 'Network Pass' to access the multiplayer but always found Uncharted's multiplayer a bit tedious... If I manage to boss out the single player campaign by next Friday I will be taking this deal. Heat added

Was in Asda yesterday and asked the guy behind the counter who manages Entertainment desk and he said he hadnt heard of any deal for MW3 for £26 no leaflets no posters nothing , what he did say was if there is a deal for MW3 it will prob involve buying ms points + £26 if anything

Gamestation don't have a trade-in page on their website so probably best just ringing and asking, i havent played battlefield since the day after it came out been so involved with NBA 2k12 i am happy to trade it in and get skyrim for £4.99, even saw the advert last night so getting even more excited for it

i got to 2nd to last mission on bf3 and got corrupt data so working thru it again ...

The guy I spoke to said that the store did not have point of sale materials because most of their focus was on MW3 on Tuesday and they would deal with this one after. So, so glad I didnt buy B3...all I have heard of this game is sh**e reports. Uncharted 3 however is a flippin masterpeice of a campaign story (assuming you havent played it).

Whats also funny is that EA and DICE were hyping BF3 up and yet on the xbox most played games chart this week BF3 was 3rd being beaten by Black Ops and MW2, a game that was supposed to destroy CoD can't even beat the one released in 2009. Sums it up really

Yup I'm a BIG bf fan but they have to leave it to the pc version as it just doesnt work on console , maps are faaar to large for 12 vs 12 on console ,ill be trading bf3 in for skyrim on friday and buying cod on tuesday

Thanks for this. Bought Uncharted 3 for £32.99 @ Bestbuy, will use this for trade-in and essentially pay £37.99 for 2 triple A games (Uncharted for me is good singleplayer with throwaway multiplayer).
