Not a fan of giving money to Epic, but if you're not bothered, these seem somewhat notable deals for good/newer games(prices named are after £10 discount):

    Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning - £3.99
    Desperados 3 - £7.99
    PC Building Simulator - £4.99
    The Messenger - £4.99
    Celeste - £4.99
    Hyper Light Drifter - £4.99
What Remains of Edith Finch - £4.99
Pathfinder Kingmaker Enhanced Edition - £5.99
    Layers of Fear 2 - £5.99
    Untitled Goose Game - £5.99
    Bugsnax - £7.99
    Hades - £8.99
    The Forgotten City - £9.49
    Sable - £9.99
    Art of Rally - £7.99
    Outer Wilds - £9.99
    Edge of Eternity - £13.99
    Alan Wake Remastered - £14.99
    Crysis 1, 2 or 3 Remastered - £14.99 each
    Subnautica Below Zero - £14.99
    Mortal Shell - £14.99
State of Decay 2 Juggernaut Edition - £14.99
    Astria Ascending - £17.79
    Dragon Quest XI S - £19.99
Kena: Bridge of Spirits - £21.99

As this seems to be a one-time use coupon, bolded are what I feel are the best buys here.

For those without gaming PC's, Geforce Now and its game streaming service has plenty of games from EGS that you can stream to an iPhone/iPad, Android phone/tablet, Chromebook, Windows PC or Apple Mac for free.

If your internet is fast enough it might be a viable option to get some gaming done on existing hardware you already own with very little cost. (existing hardware + free GFN account = £0 plus the cost of your current internet conenction)

Not all games on EGS/Steam are on Geforce Now but if you wanted to check you can use the below:

Yes they usually do bottomless £10 i.e. they give you another one when you use the previous - not sure if they'd do the same here, would be awesome for sure.

    Why don't you like epic?

Why do I feel people who ask this aren't doing so honestly and know perfectly well the reasons some people dont like them? :/

Anyways, to take the bait, I despise the way that Epic has thrown their pocketbook around to buy up exclusivity of major new games. It's just a seriously anti-consumer thing to do. And I really dont like Tim Sweeney(and haven't even before the Epic Store). He's a disingenuous sleazeball who has tried to paint himself as somebody who cares, but is really just selfish and a massive hypocrite. The whole #FreeFortnite stuff is especially bad, where they've messed over all their own Fortnite users on iOS, and then trying to pin it on Apple and sending those people they messed over to try and attack Apple online. All in the name of trying to circumvent having to give Apple any take from Fortnite transactions. Just despicable stuff.

Lastly, the money that Epic are throwing around to build the store is unsustainable. They are trying to buy users with free games and sales like this, while holding hostage many new PC games, hoping to gain regular ecosystem users, but I'm not confident it will work in the long run. So even without any ethical complaints about Epic, I'd still be cautious in putting too much money into the platform.

In general, I have no issue with other launchers. I dont even have a problem with publishers keeping *their own* games exclusive to their own store. But Epic is trying to play dirty and I think it sucks. (edited)

Do you have a source for this claim? I haven't seen that anywhere and trust me I've looked.

Epic Games are literally publishing the remaster, I would be incredibly surprised if would let their own published game onto another storefront. Would be like Sony Published games ending up on Xbox.

This isn't true. At least certainly not with Tony Hawks Skater 1 + 2 …This isn't true. At least certainly not with Tony Hawks Skater 1 + 2 anyway. Which has been a third-party exclusive at Epic for over a year now, and still can't be bought elsewhere for the PC. Because i'd heard mention that it would probably be released from exclusivity after the year was up, i had patiently waited the several months until the year had passed since its release date. And then checked around, with absolutely no luck finding it available anywhere else. Somewhat luckily though, at that time it had gone on sale for £23.99, rather than its usual price of around £39.99. So far it's the only game i've ever bought from Epic.

It's not even a 3rd party game, it's been funded and published by Epic. It would be like if Valve released Half Life 3 on Epic. Not gonna happen.

Hmmm... It's actually an Activision game. So it's not quite the same and certainly not so obvious to all it was going to be a permanent Epic exclusive. Anyway, along with the fact i'd read elsewhere it would probably eventually be more widespreadly released. I would've thought that it might at least eventually appear on the Activision/Blizzard store eventually. No matter, as i've got it now, and have certainly been enjoying the memories along with the enhanced gfx! (edited)

"Like many other Epic third party "exclusives" which after 1 year all …"Like many other Epic third party "exclusives" which after 1 year all appears on Steam" - I did not "derail" it, as you so obnoxiously and overly-dramatically put it. Besides, you yourself broadened the subject, to which i was clearly actually replying.

You started talking about Activision, Tony Hawks and 3rd Party games which have nothing to do with Alan Wake Remastered, which is funded and published directly by Epic.

You actually replied to another poster when you started talking about Tony Hawk, so you're probably getting me confused with him. I've always kept the topic focused on Alan Wake, since I couldn't give a monkeys about any other title in this context.
