    Surprised - it is 3kw rated , unwound, with 2.5mm* cable.

    It’s actually 1.5mm not 2.5mm.  I ordered based on the comments on Amazon.

    I do find this style of open reel awkward to wind, as the cable tends to run off the cheeks of the reel.

    If you use it unwound, capacity is drastically reduced. And becomes more of fire hazard. Good offer but unless you really need 30m it can be waste and safety risk . (edited)

    Hi, I was thinking the English language is fantastic, live cable (as in there is current flowing) or live cable (as in cable do not be dead) then we have wound (as in to wrap around) and unwound (as in unwrap and remove) so to use this cable reel you need to unwind the cable as in remove it from the reel. 13amp rating means check your plug it should say its rating you will probably find most tools have 13amp rating. so you should be running just ONE.
