sorted byFF7 Remake on Hard Mode has the best combat ive ever seen. perfect mix of lightning fast action but also heavily tactical during the battles relying on switching between elements, switching non stop between 3 characters plus a massive array of attacks to utilise. you also need to be good at setting up materia and if you don’t, you won’t win the fight. that game is so much better than this it’s unbelievable, although FF16 is very cinematic. can’t fault the actual direction and how epic it is, but that’s all i like about the game. I’d go as far to say anyone who disagrees obviously hasn’t played FF7R or was too bad at the game to attempt hard mode. It’s not even up for debate which is better. Just for the big silly half an hour long God of War battles it’s an L for XVI. (edited)
