I'm not sure if this is a pricing error, or intended, but basically, using a Swedish address, it's currently possible to get Forza 4 and Forza 5 for 7 SEK (about 56p).

This deal will almost certainly not be around for long, but I've just managed to buy and install it. Typically costs well over £50 - best price from Microsoft in the UK is £64.99 right now.

Online delivery, for XBox and PC.

Well i'm from Sweden and the game got refunded here too for everyone not sure if that even is legal because of our nice consumer laws. We have a Swedish forum where we are discussing this subject right now. Here is an link to the forum sweclockers.com/for…064

Roof translation directly from the "consumer law " in Sweden

Section 40: If the goods have come into the buyer's possession, the seller may cancel the purchase only if he has reserved the right to do so or if the buyer rejects the goods. Since the price has been paid in full, the seller may not cancel the purchase.
Since the item is paid for, they have no right to cancel.

So is this for both games and all dlc or just the DLC for both games? Thanks...

Stop getting confused. When you buy a game (this bundle as example). You do NOT need Game Pass Ultimate to play the games. You do need Game Pass Ultimate / Gold to play online only. Both games appear separately within your “owned games” section on your Xbox dashboard. - All the DLC is visible within each game. When you go to install it, select install all and it will show you the DLC to install. - If you already have the game installed via Game Pass. Select Manage and you will then be able to see the DLC you can download and install. - When to launch the game you will no longer see the Game Pass badge flash up. This is because you own the game. When you see “Game Pass” flash up it means you don’t own the game, you’re leasing/renting and the license you’re using to play the game is via Game Pass. (edited)

Very well explained. I do not have an Xbox but have read that with Game pass ultimate, I can play xbox games from A samsung tv. I was wondering, now that I have bought this game, if I have game pass as well. Would I be able to play the bundle game I bought on my Tv without a console? Sorry if this sounds silly

Here's the T's and C's ladies and gentlemen. Good luck with your class action lawsuit.

"Microsoft may refuse or reject any order at any time, refunding you any monies you have paid for the order, for legitimate reasons which include, but are not limited to, if you have not met the conditions specified at the time of the order, if your payment cannot be processed, if the ordered products, digital content or services are not available, or in the event of an obvious pricing error or other errors. In the event of such pricing or other errors, we reserve the right to either (a) cancel your order or purchase or (b) contact you with alternative options. In the event of cancellation, your access to any associated content will be disabled " (edited)

I havnt read it cause its obvious it wasn't going to last and it's dumb to think we have any recourse. However, legally/technically speaking t&c are irrelevent since they cannot contradict consumer laws as stated. Although most companies tend to know they can.
  6. ocelot20's avatar
Not sure how they can just refund you and take it off you when you have installed and played it? Not going to complain to much as I had both games anyways just wanted the Lego dlc. But it's scary how they can just take a game away from you and refund you. I can understand if they refund you right away or while your downloading it.

What stops them from putting a sale on having people buy a game for cheap. Let them play it for a few days. Get them hooked then just take it off and refund and charge a higher price for the game if players want it back?
    jewelie's avatar
That's the thing with digital media, you don't really own it exactly, you have licence to it with terms and conditions, ones that generally include revocation. Fortunately CDs and mp3s are still hard to revoke.
  7. Gloomin's avatar
Xbox Store is stupid once you purchase it gives you Standard Edition + All DLC's individually so u have to download them one by one. It doesn't show up as Premium edition on the store but you still get everything.
    josh971's avatar
i agree it's confusing but I did manage to find a bundle in my store on the console, which had all the addons included, and ticks in the boxes for which ones are already installed etc.
  8. MikeyBanner's avatar
Is there a chance MS will bill people the updated price instead of the price of the glitch?
    tr0r's avatar
Don't think they legally can after a completion of sale.
Much easier for them to revoke access claiming an error etc.

Anyone had any joy with getting the vip cars? I've got a greyed out area where it says you don't need to install, but they aren't in my garage..help48719210-eTndY.jpg

My hot wheels FH5 says it’s installed but I can’t access it, if I delete and reinstall it literally takes 2 seconds to ‘update’ and back to same issue
  11. JohnPhillips1996's avatar
I wonder if you gifted it if they would track it down to remove it.
    Kai_Kinder's avatar
I gifted it to my son and that's also been removed from the account

Mine forced me to enter an address but I just used a friends - it might be because I've not really used the Microsoft store on this account for a while... Great to hear.
  13. adam.mt's avatar
For those saying Microsoft isn't allowed to do this, don't forget that you [may have]* also lied about your billing address (unless you live in Sweden)...so, there's a good 'get out' there.

That said, I do think the 'right thing to do' would be to honour it. Ho hum, win some, lose some...

Update: * - Seems some didn't (UK address worked) but going by the chatter at the time, many did. (edited)

Not all of us did, I paid with debit card linked to my Xbox account and that had my correct UK address

Shame but really not surprised, was far too good to be true.

Not helped by the idiots buying 20+ copies and reselling them.

Note to self. Next time buy as a gift
    TheWatcher's avatar
And redeem quickly because they can remove codes, luckily we were already aware of that and didn't buy more than we needed, we now game share with 2 others each and can't complain, Ferrari is good in Horizon 5 but I still think Horizon 4 is better because of roads and lights, roundabouts, buildings, and all round car control is smoother, mine and brothers opinion (edited)

There was a similar deal a while back for some cooking game - it was priced as £0 and I installed it, weeks later got a notification saying it was an error and it was being removed from my library!

I’d expect the same to happen here so play it to death for a few weeks as that’s likely all you’ll get out of it before MS comes a’lcalling!
    adam.mt's avatar
Wasn't that a pre-release and it never actually played?
  18. Piranha_Plant's avatar
    Serious Heat!
Although let’s hope Microsoft don’t ban our accounts
    techradar.com/new…ths
    DanielCash's avatar
They're not going to ban accounts for this, it's a pricing error on their part. The worst that will happen is the order will be refunded.
  19. Danger_Mouse's avatar
Top tip for anyone struggling with the payment, log into your Xbox account and setup your debit/credit card in your profile, then it'll automatically be an option at checkout on the Swedish page.

I only had PayPal in my Xbox account and it was asking me to pay via the Swedish bank options.

    Just bought now, thanks OP
  20. BILL517's avatar
Bought it never went on it wish had gone on it to redeem all the extras before revocation 😞

I think the only bypass would've been if you gifted a code to yourself. As once redeemed you cant refund it (edited)
    Kai_Kinder's avatar
Hmmm I gifted it to my sons account... And blast it all, JUST this second got the refund email

Nope, they returned that version also, but are yet to refund me (edited)

No need to change payment address to Sweden. Keep your UK address and postcode, just change the default country from Sverige (Sweden) to Storbritannien (United Kingdom). Nationwide is a fee free credit card provider for foreign transactions, other banks will charge usually an amount of 3% and also possibly a fixed fee. Debit cards can be a lot more. MSE website has a useful tool for checking whether your provider charges a fee and how much it is. (edited)

So what i'm gathering from comments is that only people who purchased it directly for their account are refunded but those who purchased as gift i.e for eBay are fine?
    Kai_Kinder's avatar
Gifted it my son, his copy was also removed
  25. Hookshu_'s avatar
Refunded here too (PC) The day before I had downloaded the whole bundle and played FH5 + hot wheels dlc, today I launched the game and it said I need to repurchase. Subscribed to game pass for £1 booted it up and i'm still able to access the Hot wheels expansion without actually owning it, silver lining I guess
    Piranha_Plant's avatar
I was already on GP and it showed up on map in game but when you arrived at the HotWheels area & press X, it takes you to the store… plays a trailer first

    Disgusting?
    Legal action?
    Illegal?

Seriously? If you're on this thread you knew it was a misprice -99% off. We all took our chances and it didn't pay off, move on.

Agree that Microsoft could have sent a covering message to explain, maybe with a discount to keep access but they didn't.
    joeyist's avatar
Give me a good definition of misprice. As we approach black Friday, I will be very honest to say I could not tell if it was a move to celebrate BF or not. Not to mention how many small and giant businesses have been toying with the misprice concept to draw attention but not honour sales.
  28. M3NDEREZ's avatar
Wish I'd tried the Hot Wheels DLC now.. Really poor show, quite surprised at the decision...

EDIT: In fact, I'm not. After seeing how many 'gift' codes showed up for Resale, I bet that's the crux of the issue.. (edited)

Well thats 52p I'll never see again. I guess this was a well learnt lesson for me as to the big disadvantage of digital. I didn't even get the full refund because I lose on international cost. I never thought I'd be mad about losing such little money but I'm legit fuming. (edited)
  31. XP200's avatar
Watching the outrage alone was well worth my 61p. Lol
  32. thadunno's avatar
I think the copies sold as gifts will probably get revoked too, will just take longer. They'll need to deactivate the keys rather than just remove access from the owner via account. Really thought they'd honour this though tbh, they've honoured a few glitches over the years, even ones involving hardware. Ah well, maybe next time!
    FreakyGeek's avatar
This is where it gets a little muddy for Microsoft as it will cause a lot of widespread kick back. Especially at a time when they're trying to assure consumers that purchasing Activision is in everyone's best interest
  33. Bazallworks's avatar
As much as I hate giant corpos, not sure why so many people think they have a leg to stand on for what was a massively obviously misprice. by and large the law doesn't require you to honour an advertised price if it's obviously wrong, when a company does so it's in the name of pr rather than the law and in this instance they decided they didn't want to sell 120 quids worth of content for 67 pence. Obvious really.

I'm as annoyed as everyone else but I understand I do not have a leg to stand on in any real complaint
    Adddddd's avatar
I know what you're saying. It's not them honouring a misprice though, the sale had already gone through. Digital goods are protected in the same way physical goods are.
  34. Kammykay's avatar
Gifted codes have not been refunded
    copperspock's avatar
I wonder if those keys are just taking longer to get revoked though. I was gifted one by a very generous HUKDer, but I'm still expecting it to disappear from my library.
