ANYONE WHO WENT THROUGH WITH THIS DEAL ENDED UP WITH AN EASY £25 PROFIT
---------------
Place a £5 bet on a yellow card to be shown in the Man Utd v Man City game (tomorrow at 16:00) and get odds of 5/1 as a new customer... PLUS you'll get a £20 FREE BET if your bet loses
• If you bet wins you'll make a PROFIT of £25 (£30 total return)
• If your bet loses you'll have a £20 FREE BET by depositing only £5!
Not a bad deal
Just note: The free bet will probably be a SINGLE £20 bet - ie. you won't be able to place several smaller bets
FURTHER NOTE: I'd also recommend making sure the box is checked during registration that says you'd like to receive free bets and offers as quite often these offers will fail otherwise (I imagine you can then unsubscribe in your account settings or at the bottom of an email from them)

Yes it is Coral cause they shouldnt be taking bets BEFORE the verification. Thats the disgusting part. I followed the links and placed the bet via paypal. Then I spoke to a person on coral help chat who also placed the bet for me cause apparently it didnt apply properly. But the bet was placed and they took my money. At that point I should be entitled to the winnings as they took the bet. Do you think theyd demand id if Id lost the bet? Like hell. Immoral wherever the rules come from. Plus I know for a fact that some paypal joiners did not get asked for id after they won so its not even consistently applied. Demand verification BEFORE any transaction or its just sneaky.
*Closes account*
Just as a heads up, you can verify your account early.
I only have a provisional driving licence which I've just uploaded. I hope this isn't an issue. I don't expect it will be as it says full or provisional on the website and it is government verified ID.

This isn't Coral dictating terms, rather to do with online gambling regulation that must be adhered to. I believe that sometimes they are able to automatically verify the account, but when they can't they must require the submission of identification. Saying that, I had to do this with Betfair and they took over 4 weeks to verify my account... That's being a crook!
Use diff email and diff bank details
lol, same here
The guy did ask me to log out of Coral though, so if you are logged in anywhere, do this before to speed it up

That cracked me up so I'll let you off (_;)
Back to this, no one / not many people seem to have had problems with this so well done for scaring people away from this and thus making them lose out on free £25

Agreed, was nearly put off by some of the doomsday brigade but went for it and glad I did. Thanks OP!IMPORTANT
Regarding people not having the 'My Markets' section showing, a friend sent me this:
Note: I'd advise to pay with a debit card rather than PayPal as this may be what is causing the issue

In the description I just added:
Did you uncheck this box? Contact Coral and hopefully they'll sort it out (see comment #10 for contact info)... I can't see how they can deny it on that basis as the T&Cs don't mention anything.
