For anybody who gets the 'Xbox Live isn't supported in your region' message just scroll left and click on the 'recent' tab, press X on any of your installed games, then Y to manually search for any of the games listed.

I'm searching for more free stuff now. All the diablo 3 avatar items are free (instead of $1! - LOL) I'll see what else I can find. Watch my posts for updates, OP, feel free to use my findings to help others.

Arcania Workaround (requires your locale to be Austria)
Sign in and out of a profile.
You'll see the tile "Tolles angelbot" showing two cars - click that.
Press RB to go to the next screen and you'll see 4 categories - On this Screen, click "Action".
On this screen you will see a bunch of game tiles, one of those happens to be Arcania.
Stay on this page and sign in to your Oman gamertag.
Now press "A" on Arcania and it will load the page showing "Download - Free"
Download it.
The download should fail because your locale is still Austria.
Go and set your locale as United Kingdom.
Go to your download history and choose Arcania.
Arcania will now begin downloading - You're welcome.

Before you wonder, I tried every other tile on the screen, Saints Row 3 loads up but is priced at -1 so can't be purchased.

Do yourself a favour and get a proper console that gives away quality free games every month ..... You won't see PS3 owners scrabbling around like this ....

Infact you would if they got any free, especially as these are to keep too. Just look at all the F2P being released. If you were a real gamer you would own both anyway. 360 for superior online and superior on a lot of games and some exclusives. PS3 for Blu-Ray and some exclusives and PS+. Go take your fanboy trolling somewhere else the thread was PS3 fanboy idiot free up till now. By the way, you sound even more stupid by saying you get quality free games each month. No you dont. You pay a subscription to PS+ to rent them. Its a great service and i use it, but its not free. You sound like a 12 year old in the middle of GAME. Most scroungers ended up on PS3 for free online to begin with

to get injustice,
set the locale to Austria
sign out of any profile
on the Start Tab or (Startseite tab) go to the picture of superman (Ausverkauf Lauft) and Press A
now sign in to your Oman Account and press A on Injustice Gods Among Us
the download should now be free

Procedure for people struggling

1) go to outlook. Com and create a new email account in the Oman country

2) go to Xbox.com and sign in with the email addrese you just created.

3) change Xbox region on website to Oman

4) go on xbox and download the profile of the new account

5) if the black background Xbox live logo shows up, go to revent, find one of your actual games and click Y for search and search for your free Oman games

My point was if you are a real gamer you will want to play all exclusives. To do that you have to own both consoles. They are so cheap now that its easy to own both and play all the games. 200 games really isnt that much anymore. 360 has been out 8 years. 200 divided by 8 = 25. Split that into months then its about 2 games a month on one console

This is getting ridiculous how long until hukd'ers have an account for every country just for the deals. Don't understand why Microsoft won't just standardise Live prices internationally.

All that said nice find and SR4 season pass is great for free

Just downloaded the profile on the 360. However I have no recent games, … Just downloaded the profile on the 360. However I have no recent games, it says "Xbox LIVE is not available on consoles in your region". Have I done something wrong here?

Scroll to the left and then choose recent. If you dont have any recent then sign out play a game on your console and then sign back in and scroll left and choose recent. Or download one of the other free games and then chosse that in recent.

Make the xbox profile on xbox.com not on your console. Then download the profile to your xbox and sign in.

can't seem to get Arcania which is a shame. tried with Monaco account, … can't seem to get Arcania which is a shame. tried with Monaco account, tried changing the "locale". always comes up with a "can't verify your credit card" type error even though its listed as free.

did you try via dashboard or website?

I did all this twice, but still have no access to any marketplace on xbox … I did all this twice, but still have no access to any marketplace on xbox website or on console. There is no marketplace section to view. I've never had this issue with making other country accounts. Any ideas?

For the people who cant seem to download injustice, you click on the warner brothers sale then when you see all the injustice dlc and game sign out sign then back in and select injustice then it comes up as free, also this way you don't have to change your locale. thanks you jonbarnes16

I remember playing it on my Mega Drive, my first game tbh. Had NO idea what I was doing... But I still prefer the original opening theme song than the remake! And its quite nice to see how they've done the remake too!!

I have wondered that too, but decided I no longer care. Wasn't happy with how they tried to control what we can & can't do, so after 10 years I'm thinking of jumping ship to Sony. With the imminent launch of the new Xbox & the way it's been received, it would be a bad idea to start banning current customers on-mass.

Thanks everything worked! This is how you do everything:
1. Create an outlook email
2. Make sure you change your region to Oman
3. Once you created an email, go on xbox.com and change the website region to Saudi Arabia
4. When you create an xbox live account and select the country as Oman
5. Download your account on your console
6. Press recent, then click x and then y to search
7. Search the game you are looking for and then download

Still, I understand what you mean, as I would like to own one eventually myself.

Yeah, I probably should have said that earlier, I like other game systems too, definitely going to consider a PS3 though, especially with how cheap some games are on it now and how the system itself can be bought rather cheaply.

Actually, they did when NBA 2K13 and a few other games were available free by mistake...
