The Daily Mirror National Trust vouchers should be inside an 8 page pullout guide ? If members can confirm a guide was included in todays print edition that would be great

Useful but just saying I imagine you need to cut out the original and can't print it?

parking is extortionate at tatton park even for members

Park in Knutsford and walk in. That's what we usually do!

Can anyone confirm which papers it is? Heading says Daily Mirror/Express but post terms says Daily Star 🤷🏼‍♀️
    Brian1954's avatar
Not sure why this was not answered. The heading makes no mention of Express but it seems that Mirror, Star and Express are all doing it!

The National Trust allow fox hunting on all of their property.

These things are an absolute joke. Anything thats more than a field will be on the exclusion list.

Rather than have an exclusion list they should just have a list of whats included.

I suppose the land surrounding the houses are also looked after by the National Trust, some of these places are known for things other than their stately homes (like famous film/tv show settings). Some people like to get out of the house and go on long walks. As another comment pointed out, February/March is when most of these houses start to reopen after the winter deep clean and the voucher can be redeemed until the end of March (any later and it would coincide with Easter events and no place is going to give mass free entry at the busiest time of the year)

Does anyone know when the expiry date is on these vouchers? Thanks

Much better offer than the Heritage days out with a wider selection and some impressive properties such as tatton park

Is there a way around buying the newspaper?
I find these publications quite annoying in their political views (edited)
    C_Mc's avatar
You don't have to read the paper lol

Can recommend Cragside house in Northumberland .Me and hubby used voucher last year when on holiday there. The house was lovely very interesting and the grounds are spectacular.

Doesn't beat joining the Maltese National Trust.
    barnehurst's avatar
Had a look at Maltese NT for reciprocal rights, but appears to require a Maltese address to send the card. Which could be an issue?
    Any tips?

Has anyone picked up a Mirror yet? Is there a code for online, or do we have to buy the physical paper?
    Highflyingcloud's avatar
Looks like a physical voucher that you have to cut out
  11. modmouse's avatar
How much is the newspaper costing today and tomorrow does anyone know please? Is it more expensive than the weekday issue?
    Gambit83's avatar
Apparently it was £1.90 today but was only £1.20 yesterday
  12. Robbo11's avatar
Use the link below to find out which NT properties are close to where you are.

Excellent thank. you - Daily star is cheapest at 80p, mirror £1.20.
Doesn't look as though online passes available this time so these are way better than nothing.
Hardwick Hall for example costs over £40 for a family pass, so 80p is a bargain!
Ends tomorrow from what I can tell.

You must be joking ! Buy the Daily Mirror ? I wouldn't even use it in the toilet

It says a single use pass. That means you can use it only once. I thought it gave membership for a year to use at multiple places.
    annie713's avatar
Still bargain to pay £1 for newspaper to get entry, well worth it

I did this last time. Great time at Sheffield Park garden in the autumn. Then used the paper to help protect the floor when I was painting a shelf. I some more painting coming up so need some paper and getting a free day out is bonus!

Go in the summer around mid July to end of August, the water Lillie's are beautiful.

Oh no I was gonna go to national trust with family tomorrow, I see membership as a tax I pay for my kids to play on parks that exclude daily Mirror readers
  18. Stallzy's avatar
Not sure if it's unclear information or I'm misunderstanding but the text in the post here says it's just for one free visit. Not sure if a single visit for a family costs £26 or how much an annual family membership pass is, been a while since my fam had one but think it maybe was £100 for the year.
    danvman2's avatar
Calling it a family pass is very unclear, as i only clicked through from the email because it said that, but it's for a family ticket instead. Click bait.
  19. Sye's avatar
Are you limited to the number of vouchers i.e can you buy a few papers?
    youknowwho's avatar
    I was thinking this too!

Can a single person still use this?

    Yes.

Will the voucher show in the paper In readly I wonder

The free entry deal I used last March was linked to the National Lottery. I just bought the cheapest scratch card eligible to get the offer and used it to visit Winston Churchill's Chartwell home on the way back from a week away. The only thing that wasn't free was the car park which cost £4. (edited)
    barnehurst's avatar
The car park is a ripoff, but unconvinced anyone checks (edited)
  23. Sasamac11's avatar
Also, in Northern Ireland anyway, this time period includes Half Term so a great (almost) freebie to have for that week off.
  24. stickyapple's avatar
Sounds like there's a National Trust pullout included in the newspaper which contains the family pass. Anyone got a pic? (It'll be a generic pass)

Fantastic value. I recommend Cragside as vfm even in the winter and Seaton Delavel hall. Both free parking I believe from my visits in the autumn but don’t bother with the cafes. Overpriced an disappointing choice of food

We like those two but my 4 year old prefers Wallington because of all the play areas

I'm staying the weekend at Bourton on the water, Glos this weekend - anyone have a suggestion of somewhere to go (using this or just generally (y))
    daearegwr's avatar
Hidcote is a good National Trust garden which is around 30 mins away - only open weekends this time of year and obviously won't be looking at its best this time of year. Otherwise lots of little villages to wander around, Stow on the Wold, Broadway etc
  33. Spider_Boy's avatar
Just been looking for visiting this weekend and in most cases the houses are shut (for the East Midlands this is) so just make sure your chosen property is open fully, looks like the houses mostly open mid-late Feb or beginning of March.
