so what? if its £200 or whatever cheaper than the GoPro I assume you are referring to, it's a bargain, snobbish much?
How do you know its horrible have you seen the image or build quality, not to say I have, but how can you judge! Oh wait it's from Lidl it must be crap?!?
As for Lidl 3 year warranty, it is exactly that. An oven I had for over 2 years developed a fault and was replaced with a brand new one within 3 days. DES in Wolverhampton handled it and the replacement was sent by courier, with text confirmation day and time.
Think its a bit pricey for what it is, not many reviews available either

As for if it develops a fault... its attached to my R1 I'm sure it will come to a very sudden end before it thinks about developing one :). but I have no problem sending things back to china I find their service is great, post's a bit slow but hey.
So question for you, what are you going to do in 2 months time when this product is out of stock if yours develops a fault and you have to deal with the manufacturer directly because Lidl can't replace it ? I don't think you'll be any better off

I'm sorry... but the tone of your comment suggests you don't really know what you are on about.
If you look for 'ironx camera' on Youtube, you'll see that the video is good.... but it is nowhere near as good as the footage that can be filmed with the GoPro 3 Black.
Please show me any evidence to back up your claim...

Every time I see Mobius footage on a quadcopter, I get back to the idea of purchasing an Eye One Extreme! £160 all in for a fantastic aerial photography platform...amazing how much progress has been made!
my vote definitely goes to the Mobius - there is no better bang for the buck out there. I'm sure it's also be relatively easy to create a waterproof container for it given that it is so small.
OK it is SILVERCREST brand and there are a few YouTube video examples but this video is interesting. It looks like the same camera but it appears to be sending live video to a smart phone and has a wrist strap to allow remote start/stop of the camera. I want to use this flying mounted externally so being able to start and stop remotely is very appealing.

The Mobius is fantastic for £44! I even got a video out AV cable with it for free when purchased. Firmware is being constantly being updated, many mounts, Car dvr functionality. Only downside for me is the lack of waterproof case and LCD screen (can't see where I'm pointing). Here's a video sample:

It's the number one choice for RC Aircraft fans... size of a small pack of TicTacs, weighs only 39g, superb video quality. Also very popular for DashCam use, as you said.

Does that do 60fps 1080p ? Also, does it have a flat or domed waterproof lens cover?

Yes you can, it comes with a car charger too which is a bonus, battery life is about 2 hours give or take.

Maybe, but also the camera is mounted for underwater use in a camera case. So you are looking through a window at a small LED screen. I've got a couple of underwater cameras without cases and it's difficult enough with them seeing images on the screens especially when snorkeling in bright sunlight. I think this would be near impossible.
