    I hear people talking highly about them, but what is g-shock? How is it different from a regular casio?

    Have a look online regarding G-Shock ethos. They are really robust watches that can take a proper beating. The solar power on this means you'll not have to crack it open to replace a battery thereby potentially corrupting the water resistance. Plus with MB6 it's always accurate to the second. Very good price especially with the 10% off with email sign up

    Bought one on Friday, used a spare Email address to sign up for the newsletter and got 10% off to bring it down to £58.50.
    Don't really care what kind of box it's in long as it's genuine.

    It is a very good watch, I have a silver frame version of more than 12 years without any issues, battery life is excellent, time radio-controlled sync option is excellent too! (edited)

    G Shock is a great lasting watch. You'll only have to replace the strap and battery (if not solar powered) after about 10 years. I've worn mine to death. (edited)

    Mine turned up an hour ago , more than pleased with the spec for the money. All I had to do was change my home City and hit the receive button and it synced. Currently sitting on my windowsill charging.

    Buy yourself a little bit of polarising film and you can reverse the display, changing it from negative to positive. It's a little fiddly but not all that difficult.

    Hmmm. Well I have to say, H Samuel's chosen delivery firm, DX, are pretty useless. Missed my slot as I had other matters I had to deal with. No options to amend slot. Left a note for driver to deliver to a neighbour. Nope, can't do. Calling card left. Tried "active" live chat. No, it isn't active. Tried a couple of options to rearrange delivery to a suitable date, not possible on either their useless online or automated telephone system, so I've sent them an email. I'll see how long it takes them to (a) reply and (b) resolve this.
    Not impressed.

    bought several items from h samuel. I always opt for store collection. never used their home delivery cos I know many courier services are useless. I'm hardly home, so best option is personal pickup from store. picked up my edifice watch last Saturday from their Leeds store.

    Anyone who ordered actually get the 'Fire Package' packaging? I missed my DX delivery (hopeless customer services!) so I apparently have re-scheduled delivery for Saturday... when I'm not in! Never left a card as per stated in email from DX, didn't reply to the two emails I sent to their customer services... but just received a notification saying delivery on Saturday as per my request!!

    Anyway... moan over, be interested to hear if anyone got the Fire Packaging?

    Will go under the cuff. Quite small. Like most of the new g shocks, I've bought the new gbd-h2000 and a mtg-b3000, both smaller than I was expecting. To the point I nearly returned. Seems they are going away from the bulky watches, which is a shame... That's what I like. Probably won't buy anymore for a while.
