What is Goofbay?

Every day 1000's of items are listed on eBay with miss-spelled or badly written titles. The Goofbay toolbar searches and lists these hidden bargains. Other Goofbay tools included in the toolbar are: Misspelling Checker - for example Playstation listed as Paaystation resulting in no bidders and low bid prices. The new search from goofbay allows multiple search strings (for example 'Playstation 2 Games' - it mixes misspellings with correct ones to show the maximum number of results .....

However I wouldn't trust their sniper, it failed to snipe about 50% of the time for me. To be fair that was months ago, and it may have improved since then.

I use gixen (gixen.com) for sniping now, which is also free, and has never failed on at least 20 snipes.
Think i've only had the snipe fail on me once or twice, but if I'm really after something I tend not to really on any sniping anyway (at least then i've only myself to blame).

When I used to sell a lot goofbay was useful to see what my bidders were bidding on (other items), quite handy for sussing out scammers or fake bids.

It's not 100% accurate, but it gives you a good idea.
Sounds useful. Many people can misspell a key word in their auction title preventing others from finding it.
