Bought a couple of cans from Farmfoods this morning 25p each of the chickpea and pepper.

I bought 9 tins of the tomato and bean ones a while back on this offer. I was so sure I'd love them, but they are awful. Seems the content is 90% bland bean puree, with a small squeeze of tomato puree and some harshly tasting sweeteners in the mix. 8 tins for the food bank, or the bin.

I volunteer at a large food bank and clients keep giving these back saying they are awful

Been available in my local for 2 weeks. Don't seem to be selling well.

I bought a bunch of these last week, they are decent

Any more than a couple of these a day and you'll have a back side like a dragons nostril.

    Really tasty though.

These were being cleared in Sainsburys too, and after tasting the chickpea one I know why. Not nice.

Anything involving chickpeas or peas usually doesnt end up well. You don't want to try the milk alternatives!

I found them very good, just as meat

I didn't like the taste (slight bitterness - too much green pepper?) or the texture - slightly grainy (the pea protein??).
