If anyone doesnt have time to read it, ChatGPT answered me with the following:

"What are the takeaway advice points of How to Talk to Anyone With Confidence: Ultimate Guide to Conquering Small Talk, Conversations and Long Lasting friendships"

    -----

Here are some key takeaway points from "How to Talk to Anyone With Confidence: Ultimate Guide to Conquering Small Talk, Conversations and Long-Lasting Friendships":

Be confident: Confidence is key when it comes to making conversation. Believe in yourself and don't be afraid to express your thoughts and opinions.

Be a good listener: Listening is just as important as speaking. Pay attention to what the other person is saying and show interest in their thoughts and feelings.

Ask open-ended questions: Open-ended questions allow for more in-depth conversations and help to build rapport with the other person.

Use body language: Your body language can say just as much as your words. Use eye contact, smile, and nod to show that you're engaged in the conversation.

Find common ground: Look for shared interests or experiences that you and the other person can connect over.

Practice active listening: Repeat back what the other person has said to show that you're listening and understand what they're saying.

Be positive: Try to maintain a positive attitude and avoid negative or controversial topics.

Don't overthink it: Relax and be yourself. Remember, everyone is just human and conversation is a natural part of human interaction.

By following these tips, you can build confidence in your communication skills and develop strong, lasting friendships.

Do you have to have a kindle to download for free?

No, you can use the Kindle app on your phone (must be logged into the same Amazon account).

Having worked hard in my late teens and early twenties to overcome my shyness, I reached the point that I could talk to anyone with confidence. I then realised that in most cases I didn't really want to, as I am essentially a Miserable Unsociable Git.

Is there a book on how to ignore people and get them to ignore you too? I miss the lockdowns and the personal space they provided.

Anyway... who needs a book? Just be yourself and keep your head down when you see stangers or people you don't like. Teenagers seem to manage it well.

Trick is never smile, never make eye contact and wear an offensive t shirt - lots on eBay.

Should have shared this with the old Spurs boss Conte before his meltdown.

Most people aren't worth talking to anyway they have few interests and rarely initiate conversation. Do you really want to waste your time on such wastes of space ?

The irony of this is if you have real confidence, talking to anyone becomes easy. Being an extrovert also helps to some extent I guess.
