I have this hose, and personally from experience this hose KINKS a lot! It has the plastic piping down the sides of the hose to supposedly help prevent this, but feel it actually makes it worse. I'd avoid, and get something else personally.

Your right it does kink but what I do is when fully opened I make sure that the yellow line is straight all the way down the hose.

Note Hozelock do not classify it as kink fee. I find it does kink like other cheap hoses.

i bought one from my local and it looks nothing like in the picture

seems to be a completely different hose they provide now… my brother has the one like in the picture (old version(?) does not kink hence why it doesn’t mention it on screwfix description for this new one) which i was expecting to get… but clearly not. (edited)

Weird that Screwfix or Hozelock won't tell a customer what the product code it (and it helps me do price comparisons!)B&Q has the number 2480 on the nozzles' packaging:Hozelock says the SKU is 2471 or 2477 (depending on the hose length supplied, 12.5mm diameter hose) (edited)

12.5mm diameter hose versus Screwfix's stated 12mm - same specifications / hose length / hose reel length otherwise (think the extra .5mm is a red herring, as Hozelock only has one listing for this hose reel set and the diameter is 12.5mm)
