Humble Fight for Racial Justice Bundle

Black lives matter.
In the wake of the killing of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and tragically many more in the Black community, we’ve teamed up with developers, publishers, and creators to help support organizations fighting for racial equity.
This special one-week bundle features $1,200 USD worth of games, books, and comics for just $30 USD. 100% of the proceeds from your bundle purchase go to support organizations fighting for racial justice. For example, providing legal representation and assistance, protecting and expanding civil rights, and educating the public on racial injustice and slavery.

Interested in knowing more about how the charities in this bundle are using funds to combat racism? Learn more about NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Race Forward, and The Bail Project.

Redeem DRM-Free and on Steam. All of the games in this bundle are available on Steam for Windows and some for Mac and Linux too. Spelunky, This War of Mine, Broken Age, Vertiginous Golf are also available DRM-Free. Please check out the full system requirements here prior to purchasing.
Read them anywhere. The comics in this bundle are available in CBZ, PDF, and ePub formats, and the ebooks are available in PDF, MOBI, and ePub formats, so they work on your computer, e-readers, iPads, cell phones, and a wide array of mobile devices! Instructions and a list of recommended reading programs can be found here for comics and here for ebooks.

Support charity. 100% of the proceeds from your bundle purchase go to help organizations fighting for racial justice through NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Race Forward, and The Bail Project via the PayPal Giving Fund.

Quite a poor bundle, would have been all over this but I own about 80% through other bundles

Humble doesn't seem as good as it used to be tbh.

I think 50 games for £25.50 is great, especially if you create a new account to be eligible for the 9-game Humble Choice (and the Humble Trove) bonus. For me, Football Manager 2020 would be good to have for when it leaves Game Pass. Having some of the others, I'd like Kerbal Space Program, Baba is You, BioShock Remastered, Spelunky and Regular Human Basketball and from the Humble Choice bonus Supraland, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and Grid. Some of the games aren't often on sale or have had limited discounts (e.g. Football Manager 2020, KSP, Baba is You, NBA 2K20, Jackpot Party Pack 4 etc.).

Tbh insanely good bundle, I've wanted FM20, Hyper Light Drifter and throwing Jackbox in there is worth it for me. Also have wanted to try neocab, surviving mars and system shock 1, and of course goes to a good cause. Much better bundle than the itch.io one for me. But still a lot of repeats though, I understand that. Overall hot for value and cause. (edited)

The Codemasters deal has been done before, I own all the games that where in that bundle, Cities has been free for monthly subscribers before too.

They locked a lot of monthly subscribers in last year with a Classic package for a year, only for the games to generally be added to a normal bundle 2/3 months later. It's been a big criticism of theirs.

It's great people are finding new games, but my point is they aren't special and unique like they used to be.

An example of the Codemasters bundle you referenced and previous bundles

    • GRID Autosport - Humble Codemasters Bundle 2015
    • Toybox Turbos - Humble Codemasters Bundle 2015
    • Overlord II - Humble Codemasters Weekly Sale 2014
    • Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising - Humble Codemasters Weekly Sale 2014
    • F1® 2018 - Codemasters Build Your Own
    • DiRT Rally - Free 9 Months Ago by Subscribing to Newsletter (numerous bundles as well for example Humble Sports Bundle)
    • DiRT 4 - Humble Just Drive

I kind of figured you was referring to the fact it's poor to you because you own the games. I don't think that lessens the quality of the bundle.

The thing is ... this isn't about you. It's about how others feel. I dunno ... words on a forum don't usually change someone else's mind, but I would encourage you to at least consider why other people feel differently to you (different experiences?), and to try to emphasise with them where you can. If you don't care about a specific issue - well - clearly lots of other people do, so they must have a reason, right? And yeah, maybe you're not part of the "problem" because you treat everyone/thing the same ... but you can hopefully appreciate that not everyone is like you. So yeah.

Too many people voting cold because they already own some of the games, which is ludicrous.

That's an odd rule... Here's a better rule: add up the value of the games you don't have and want to play - if they're worth more than the bundle price, then pay it.

You're still making a poor and opinionated argument. Lots of us have huge Steam collections so bundles aren't so appealing, I have over well 2K games across Steam and GOG alone. But there are many out there who don't jump on every bundle Humble, Fanatical and the likes release so these are still very appealing to them. (edited)

Exactly... it's like, my head could explode at how unrealistic and precise the demands of some people are. The thing that solves it all, is VR, because you're always in 1st person... so, for those who can't cope with a games character choice, then the solution is to play VR games, exclusively.

Mass effect was the first game I remember, with a black female avatar. In some games yes it's all about escape in other it's more about simulation (Sims!). I'd like to have the choice to choose my avatar when apprioriate. In VR games it's weird looking down at white hands... This explains it far better than me, but representation matters across all art forms. theguardian.com/tec…box

Worth checking out barter.vg if you have games you are looking to trade for this. I’ll probably pick this up mostly for trading as not too interested in the games offered. Really spoiled by the itchio bundle, so a very hard act to follow I guess!

Yes we've seen some of these games before but its for such a good, relevant cause. Any games I already own will be gifted to mates and Im sure there's plenty of people on this forum who would appreciate a free key. People have given me free keys on HUKD, time to return the favor. Disappointing for me. I wanted to support the cause but its literally 80%-90% stuff I already own from other Humble bundles or giveaways. What were they thinking by making it a £25.50 minimum? It used to be a 1 cent minimum originally, then $1, so you could pretty much pay what you wanted to charity even if you owned most of them. What happened to the around £1, £5, £10 tiers?

It's only poor because you own a lot of these.
For someone who doesn't own do many, it's a fantastic deal/

I wanted to support the cause but its literally 80%-90% stuff I already own from other Humble bundles or giveaways. What were they thinking by making it a £25.50 minimum? It used to be a 1 cent minimum originally, then $1, so you could pretty much pay what you wanted to charity even if you owned most of them. What happened to the around £1, £5, £10 tiers?

Those still happen most weeks (there's one still ongoing), but for a long while Humble Bundle run much larger bundles such as this, with an accordingly higher price. The whole point is charity fundraising, after all!

Mods need to delete spam comments that don't elaborate on a cold vote, especially in a comment section like this that is being heavily monitored.Too many people voting cold because they already own some of the games, which is ludicrous.

I think the point is that people are voting cold because of the cause involved and mods are having to delete comments "elaborating" their views on that...
Voted hot and purchased, seems like excellent value if you aren't typically someone who buys these bundles. KSP, FM20, Jackbox Pack 4, NBA 2k20, plus Hellblade from the free monthly were all on my wishlist, and all proceeds to a charitable cause. Scorching for me.
