    It says its superspeed tho and faster than an equivalent usb 2 drive, dishonest marketing taken to the extreme right there. But people enjoy being misled so no harm i guess.

    For this much storage save yourself the hassle and get a proper SSD in an enclosure, it’s not a lot more money but 512GB on cheap flash memory is not exactly reliable and will take ages to write. Flash drives are really for carting small files around physically imo. (edited)

    I have the 256G version and build quality is not great takes ages to write. Stuck in the back of a music streamer and does that job well though.
    Yes that’s the only time I’d use these, I have a 64GB one and it’s handy to have around for films and music or lending to someone with files on. The casing is quite cheap and flimsy but it’s a cheap stick. I imagine flash drives are also useful once loaded with your data and not planning to change it often (eg music streamer in car).

    Mine locked up after writing 128GB data to it with h2testw (almost as if the drive was fake).
    I've never had it lock up. Error or no error.
