Just wait for the right board.

Everything else is getting cheaper by the day

It's a good budget gaming chip. I used the 12100F as a starter chip for 3 months. I was surprised how fast it was for the money.

I paired it with a used £170 RX 5700 XT and life was good. The only reason I upgraded was because I couldn't overclock my 32GB kit of Samsung B-Die to it rated 3600 speed, 3466 max. Changed to a 16GB kit and I could hit 3600 no problems.

Most folk will be fine using standard memory speeds with 32GB kits.

I wouldn't pay £100 for this chip if second hand is an option. Get a used i3 -12100/f or a used i5-12400/f for maximum yeild!

At 1080p, this chip can drive an RTX 2060 Super or RX 6600 class GPU like a Boss...
