About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
- Challenger K1 One Person Kayak set is made from Intex "Super-Tough" vinyl which is a high molecular PVC that is unaffected by gasoline, oil and salt water.
- It is highly resistant to damage from abrasion, impact and sunlight. It also permits more air pressure for rigidity, making it perfect for river and sea action.
- The K1 comes with 84" aluminum oars and a high-output hand pump. The hard plastic skegs on the underside of the kayak (similar to the underside of a surfboard) provide directional control so you can be sure you'll get where you want to go.
- The kayaks feature inflatable seats with backrests, inflatable I-beam floors, grab lines on both ends, and a cargo net for extra storage. The sets also includes a repair patch.
- Kayak size: 274cm (108") long x 76cm (30") wide by 33cm (15") high Weight Capacity: 100kg (175lbs).

sorted byBrilliant quality never had a puncture, takes approximately 15-20 mins to fully inflate it, plenty of space in the front netting for a back pack and also space in the rear with the gear.
The supplied pump is a little flimsy and has come apart a couple of times but simple to fit back together.
Might be worth upgrading the pump, I already had a spare but still use the supplied one.
Highly recommend you get a life jacket whilst using and avoid using in the sea, the lightweight design of these even make it very very hard to control in a current and this time of the year always sees a lot of accidents with inflatables.
On the canal/lake these are an absolute dream to use, can't wait to use ours again very soon.
Another small detail is the oars being slightly on the short side meaning every stroke drips water onto your legs, this is obviously not a big deal during nice summer days.
A simple solution is fitting an old broom handle between the two parts to extend it but obviously that effects portability.
Brilliant piece of kit though, this is the 'sporty' model compared to the Explorer which is more of a canoe then a kayak.
Was looking at getting a 100N bouyancy aid...
It was difficult to get in the kayak when you're battling the tide, and not a pleasurable experience trying to keep yourself upright in the waves.
As has been said previously in this thread. Don't use it in the sea.
