Was going to order the Valve deck then seen this has dropped to £37.99

Is the valve deck really worth the extra £42? (edited)

You do get another charger with the steam deck dock.

If you have a 45 watt charger then you don't really need the Steam one. But if you would like another genuine steam charger it may be worth it.

Not keen on this dock due to the Ethernet port on the side, which I have limited space on my gaming/hobby desk, went for the iVoler one instead, also made of aluminium and doesn't block the Deck's air vent.

    Great price though op (edited)

another one for the ivoler with ethernet port works like a charm never had any problems would recommend

this is still a good price for a good product so either this or ivoler will be a good purchase

    heat added thanks for posting

I have the official valve dock. It's good but not worth the price for what it is. Although you do get a spare charger.

Will this charge the Steam Deck and also allow me to output HDMI to TV?

I purchased this one about a month ago and paid £44.15 for it (I know what an odd price lol)

Seems pretty good quality, well made and does what it's supposed to

Voted hot as this is a decent saving over what I paid

If i were to use the official steam deck charger with this could i plus in a Bluetooth keyboard and it still work ? sseen a few people saying the back usb ports dont work due ot the steam charger only being powerful enough to charge the deck and nothing else.

Not quite sure I understand the question. Just wonder why you want to plug in a Bluetooth keyboard when it's wireless?

Don't like the way it covers the vent slightly. The Steam Deck overheats quite a bit with it covered. Hopefully it's not enough to make a difference.

For those who have the iVoler dock, can I ask if all your USB ports wobble please? I mean if you plug any usb device in the dock, does it feel loose to you when you move it left and right please? All my ports seem quite loose to the point like almost it disconnects. Just wanted to know if this is normal before I do a return. Cheers
