We had the smaller one of these and found them quite pointless. On a hot day as quick as you put ice in it has melted, and we used 4 bags at a time to fill ours.
Bought a 2nd hand fridge for £30 in the end and built a waterproof housing around it so we now have an outdoor fridge. I'm sure it works out cheaper factoring in all the ice you need to buy to keep these cool.

No disrespect op and not voted either way

What did you use to make it waterproof?

It was a little more than waterproofing but makes a nice addition to the garden! Just built from 2x3" timbers and osb3 sheet ...I installed a waterproof double socket behind it

Totally respect your points. I had a smaller one to with built in lights. If it was is the shade of a hot day, it was good. Next to swimming pool the ice had to be replaced quite a lot.

I think some would like it for the look and quite frankly - The snob value. I've just painted myself in that picture Lol! Never mind 😁🍻 (edited)

I’ve always found the good ol blue recycling box, some Ice cubes and water does the job.

Haha yep...I scour the classifieds for stuff like this though, bought that whole worktop for £20. I guess if you add in the cost of timber, handle, hinges and the fridge in side it would still cost less than the Keter bar cooler
