    I have this and the 32 and 64 gb ones, reliable but quite slow transfer speeds when copying files from the laptop

    I think all of these things that a cheap (in terms of cost: capacity ratio) are slow, especially when writing.

    I can live with that - reliability is more important, but also temperatures. I am happy to wait (i.e. go away and come back later), but some of these things get very hot and I'd be worried leaving them unattended.
