Not much in it between the two performance wise it all depends on if you want the latest spec and have the money to spend.
No, both apply 10% off but you can only use one
You can install Win10 Home with the Win11 Key which is preinstalled
But for Pro you need your own key,... Win7/8/10/11 works also with Win11 Pro
If you install win10 you need to install all drivers manually,, touchpad does not work (even with win11pro iso) .. no drivers included,... use keyboard or external mouse. After driver install it works fine.
Only driver which lenovo does not provide is the thunderbolt driver. you need to use the driver from dell latitude 7420 , works fine
Prolly like the other guy said.
Also got discount code by asking in the box that pops up on the right side, (this was during UK business hours) why it a student was worthy of a discount and not me and that i would not buy on that principle.
Check on reddit too for other hints and tips.
Fair point, but anyone with a Lenovo account can access the edu store. Just sign up using your normal email and use the same credentials to login.
Still lovely laptop you have, why do you want the upgrade? (Genuinely interested in the reasoning as I've been trying to weigh up both of those machines vs the value)
how ? I tried all the tricks i've read and failed.
both LENOVOSAVE and LEGION10 are working for me,, i just tried it out with out logging on to my account (edited)
confirmed here too as working
So they work both with 20% discount in total?
Did you downgrade to a previous version of Windows 10 pro you already owned (I want pro version but didn't think you can upgrade on this deal)? (edited)
Hi. When you registered was it straightforward or are there any tricks to follow?
To be fair that is very impressive for a laptop. Yes my overclocked 12600k desktop gets 19780 points on multicore that is @ 185w tdp water-cooled at max temps of 91c. What sort of temps, tdp, and sustained frequencies do you get throughout the test? For comparison I also have a 10gen i7 ultra book and most it can do is around 3.2ghz all core load @30w tdp
£100 of your first purchase, before if you were first time visitor to the site it will pop up on the left or you can use the chat section and ask them
also you can try to get abit more off as mentioned by a fellow hduk member

All the good AMD chips while they were top, this creeping out while Intel have a decent mobile chip in the offing. Small thing but worthy of note.
Times are a changing and do not forget a very big ressesion incoming.
Throw it on eBay
I currently have an AW m15 r1 (hex core i7, 32GB ram, 2TB SSD, RTX 2060, 1080p screen), performance is solid at 1080p but the heat and noise are incredible plus it's mostly useless when not gaming as batterylife is short and can still be noisy. I'm tempted with something like this as it has a better screen, higher performance and I'm hoping would be much more usable when not gaming and off the mains.
The lower it gets, it seems to want 5-10 seconds to realise the charger is powerful enough
