IMHO, go for the bigger card, overall better cooling.

Have the normal 2 fan Venus and the max it hits is 75c around 50% fan speed in a crappy glass case inside a cupboard. 3 fan should be ice cold if you have the space.

For anyone curious, it's probably a bit too slow for 1440p if you care about high settings. That being said, if I cared about how games looked more than fluidity and sharpness then I'd have just kept a PS5. Otherwise it pushes 100-150fps on most games which I'm happy with at 1440p. Overwatch 2 maxed out the 280hz refresh rate on my monitor and it was beautiful, shame the game itself is so bad.

Thanks for this. Not enough comparisons on the productivity side of things for GPUs as it's always about gaming benchmarks.

I believe these perform slightly better than a 2080 Super?

In this day and age in terms of GPU pricing that's not bad at all.

Yup, don't get me wrong, it's an obscene amount to pay - but that's the prices these days.
Still hope the 4060 and 4060 ti 16GB release will shake things up, but decided to just get these and have done with it or I'd end up waiting forever.

Shame I missed this one, looks right up my street to replace an RX580 8GB for some photo and video editing.
