So I've been looking at the LG C2 77" since last summer and this is one of the best deals I've seen up until now although I'm sure someone has probably seen it at a better price at some point. This model (OLED77C24LA) is £2,789.99 but has 2% off for members (free to sign up) and an additional 5% voucher if it's your first purchase. You can also get 2.62% via Top Cashback (not confirmed yet but don't see any reason why it should be knocked back) which results in a final price of £2,542.59. First ever deal posted so be kind please!

Edited to include that the full 5 year LG warranty is included.

I bought this (OLED77C26LD) for my dad last black Friday through costco.
    It cost £2,180.48 after discount.

Hope this provides a gauge on pricing over the few months and any applicable warranty/guarantee etc. (edited)

How did you get it so cheap? I don't think I remember it being that cheap last Black Friday.

I might just pull my sofa closer to my 65" and save a whole load of cash

I just bought a cheap refurb 77” G2 and quality is absolutely stunning. The C2 is virtually the same. The size, resolution and colours are breathtaking from a good Ultra HD source such as Ultra HD Blu Ray or 4K Netflix. Even BBC iPlayer occasionally has Ultra HD content such as today’s coronation.
Great price - you won’t be disappointed? (edited)

From my research, C and G series are different. The panels in the cx, c1, c2, c3 42" and 48" are not evo or ex panels, so are not as bright. Only the 55 inch and above are ex panels. The G series also have heatsink's allowing them to be driven harder to go brighter than other models.

Great price I paid around the same at my local Costco back in November .Fantastic TV
But Costco 5 year warranty is a lot better than LGs.

Pulled the trigger. Couldn't wait any longer for better deals. Thanks op!!

I get 3% cashback on LG products off work's benefits scheme, so went with that instead of tcb. Hope this helps anyone who want to use that route.

I don't think the 5 year warranty applies to the the C2 , only the G and Z series.

    "TVs: Labour : 12 Months, Parts : 12 Months

5 year premium OLED panel warranty on LG Z Series and G Series OLED TVs – this extended warranty is applicable to the panel only. The consumer will be charged for labour after the 12 month product warranty has expired. No registration required. Available in the UK only
    ."

    "5-year panel warranty covers 88Z2, 88Z1, 77Z2, 77Z1, 83G2, 77G2, 65G2, 65G1, 55G2 and 55G1."

might be wrong but believe the warranty is 12 months on all parts/labour and the remaining four years are for the panel only..

Yes, that's their standard five year oled warranty. Sorry for any confusion.

Great price. Paid about £30 more a month ago from Richer Sounds as they price matched Smyths.

Feels like the chances of seeing the 55' drop in price are slim these days.

Still a bit rich for me. I’ve been on the lookout since last year for a 77’. Hoping they return to prices of last spring but I think I’m going to have to dig deeper or look for a cheaper model.

People who are trying to buy this size of OLED shouldn't need to worry about a few hundred pounds here or there.
