    720p... In 2023... Yes, it's cheap, but seriously, 720p...?

Good enough on a small screen.

Just got a TCL 32RS530K Roku TV 32" Smart HD Ready LED TV for the bedroom as have a 50 TCL smart 4k in lounge and was really impressed with it. The TCL 32RS530K Roku TV 32" Smart HD Ready LED TV is really good and for £139.00 from Currys and 7% back via top cashback it was a no brainer! Oh and it's got a TCL 2 yr guarantee.

The 32inch android version is super slow, would the Roku version as slow as the android version?

I bet you only have a 4K TV? Talk about blind. You are nobody unless you have 8K TV these don't you know.

Get a Samsung instead under £200 in Argos.

Had 2 Samsungs and returned both. Hate their UI and they aren’t as good as they claim to be. Computer Active rates the fire TVs as they are independent and don’t have to be a slave to the brands in their reviews.
Incidentally I received an invitation to purchase the 40” version which is FHD, for £199. Which Samsung from Argos competes with this??

Never mind the resolution, the GUI on these is frustratingly slow.
You tweak a few settings to speed it up (as you can with all Android TV's), but it's not great.
Better off getting a TCL for less as someone mentioned above. (edited)

I have the TCL 32S5209K android TV, which is incredibly slow, I am returning it and ordered this 32 inch fire TV, is the fire TV going to be as slow as the android?

Would the TCL roku someone mentioned above much faster than their android version? (edited)

I have a Samsung 1366 x 768 tv it’s 24 inch and I have it in my bedroom, up until a couple of years ago about 3 years into my ownership I realised it wasn’t full hd and rather hd ready.

You can get away with it on a 24", but 32" is pushing it.

    Shame 720p
I need a 32” TV to fit a bedroom desktop space, 32” is the limit! But has to be decent for movies…… any recommendations without paying over the top!?
