The sausages used to taste nice but now they are like cardboard

Are there any decent real meat alternatives? I try not to eat ultra-processed 'fake' meat..

My ex was a real "Sunday Roast with all the family" fanatic. I don't eat meat so used to make something like a nut roast or lentil roast to go with their animal roast. Always got finished up i.e. the rest of them liked it as well. Try something like that if you don't like the supermarket fake meats.

I do buy these burgers though for when I cba to bother with proper cooking. Heat up in 20 minutes or so and reasonably tasty. Not so much the sausages I prefer the "Cauldron" tofu ones.

Are these ultra processed foods? I read online that ultra processed foods are bad for health.
    Thanks

They are. I tried one a few days ago and it wasn't great 😬

The burgers are great, the sausages... I prefer Richmond's.

Sadly, no one has come up with veggy sausages that taste half as good as real ones

Had those sausages last week. They were so dry. Wouldn't recommend.
