Couldn’t agree more, I bought a Makita drill with all the bits, Drill is fine but the bits are made of butter, Bent in half when I tried to drill into something

No idea how / why, but when I clicked the deal an eBay £5 off pop up appeared and worked (though didn't stack with this Mar10 code)

So I figured £13.99 delivered, worth a punt.

Everyone's saying the quality of this kit and bits is bad but... which ones do people recommend?

For value, the Bosch bits are generally known to be the best of the rest at this price point. Don’t expect Mac Tools levels of quality though.

Also DeWalt bits have been know to be a bit of a dark horse too but don’t quote me on that. (edited)

I am a huge fan of makita tool’s especially the 18v stuff but last time I had drill bits from them the strength was pathetic.

Drills are good but the drill bits are made of butter.

This is also the kit you get for free via redemption with the screwfix deal (drill and 2 x 5Ah)
