    I paid around £20 for a Turkey crown from Sainsbury a week ago. Decent size for 7-8 people.
    Last time we paid more than double that at M&S for a turkey (using vouchers from some insurance policy), it was no better than anywhere else to be honest.

    Not sure why they don't remove the BBE etc. date from Xmas cake and puddings. It's not like these things, especially if soaked in alcohol, actually go off. We've eaten Xmas puddings, in say, the September the following year and they've been fine.

    Same problem with the voucher trap. Free money, but struggle to find anything to spend it on. Lost count of the number of socks that have split on the heel/sole seem.

    Picked up a large crown at Sainsburys this morning for £5.80. M&S price is barely a reduction really.

    Just picked up ANOTHER M&S Turkey today. Cant wait to hit the gym in the new year!
    It is worth mentioning the Turkeys best before was Today (27th) so will probably be even cheaper later this afternoon.

    Some one mentioned "not really a reduction" not really sure why you would say that. The Turkey was £48 reduced to £25. Going off Eni Alukos maths, that's a %100 reduction
