I think it was Digital Foundry that said the Switch versions don't perform …I think it was Digital Foundry that said the Switch versions don't perform too well. A shame as I wouldn't mind nabbing these.

    You got a link mate?

Cant find it at all. I can find them looking at mega man mobile.

Cant find them looking at this at all and all the reviews I’ve seen heap praise on this....

metacritic has the first as of the two as an 83 and it scores higher than the other console versions.

the quality of the second batch of original games is lower and so scores lower for that reason.

seen nothing but praise for the port. (edited)

Interestingly, these are pretty much on par with the Scandinavian prices; there’s only pennies in it. Even Putin couldn’t negotiate a better deal for the oft cheaper Russian eStore!

It's actually on ArsTechnica that they mention these issues, not DF sorry. …It's actually on ArsTechnica that they mention these issues, not DF sorry. You're right though, everything else I've found seems to say they're good. Here's the link to what I read anyway:https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2018/07/a-quick-word-on-which-versions-of-mega-man-x-legacy-collection-to-get-or-avoid/

That's the X series these are the originals

Consider me a full, blown, raging idiot. I insist. Sigh.

Ha! At least I've learned that I can buy these two collections without too much worry, so out of my incompetency comes a win!

For some reason I can't bring myself to buy them never played a mega man game before but have played games like it.

    Cheers mate.

Interesting! That would be enough to put people off... reviews are a funny beast!

Cant really knock what they say... if it drops it drops...

most reviews seem seem to still review it highly although with rose tinted specs you can forgive quite a bit - maybe that’s what’s going on...

for £8.99 I’ll have a punt at the first batch - wanted physical but it’s only half on cart! So might as well get cheap on digital!

Docked mode for collection 1 (I don't own collection 2) has some real noticible input delay compared to other games, it's better in portable mode but something is up with the controller latency.

Prepare to use the rewind option a lot because of missed platform edge jumps.

I read this as megaman collections both 1 and 2 for £8.99 not £8.99 each but that’s me being an idiot
