Stand by for humorous comments about optional indicators...

I have never notice faulty indicators on Mercs, around here it is mainly Audis with that problem, and of course Beemers.

I was being sarcastic. I own a Merc, and it makes me laugh how people assume you're ignorant and a bad driver because you have an expensive car.

I followed someone in an 'L' registered Peugeot 106 who couldn't drive in a straight line or use his indicators. Do I now assume all Peugeot drivers are the same?!!

You need DLA at the higher rate and for upmarket automatics you need a good up front payment £1,500 to £2,500. Mercs A&B Class and BMW's upto 3 Series. No top end cars available - nor necessary !

Was 1996 a particularly bad year for website developers then?

No, it was a *great* year for Web Developers, just like 1903 was a great year for powered flight.

But you wouldn't trust a travel agent to get you to Magaluf in the Wright Brother's Flyer.

I hate the so called AMG models, BMW did this splashing ///M badges on everything. Those badges should be reserved for the special models.

I don't have ///M Badges on my 3 series convertible even though it's a M Sport, nor do I have AMG badges on my so called AMG spec Merc ML CDI

Sarcasm not missed, but my observations in the last few years are that Audi drivers are more likely to suffer indicator failure than BMW drivers, who used to be blamed, and be the butt of jokes. Mercedes are far more of a gentleman's car. I drive a Volvo so I guess I am an old fart.

AMG and diesel are two words that should never be used together! Prefer the looks of the older R171 SLK anyway.

Then you were going to buy the absolutely tyre eating terrible monstrosity that is the CLK63 after owning an M5? Did you crash at any point in your life and suffer severe head trauma?

I think Mr Spoons is a keyboard warrior.

FYI BMW don't put M sport badges on M sport cars, they put M badges on their M power cars (so you took the M badges off so the cars just read 3 and 5? Ok ;)). I know Merc have only started putting AMG badges on non AMG powered cars recently but if a car has AMG styling then so be it. You can get badge delete on any new car these days.

Cold because I went to every single Tescos and they had none in stock. Wild goose chase. All because of greedy people ordering more than one . I saw one old girl with 2 mercs in her trolley. Bet she's selling one on ebay.

Voted cold. Decent discount to list but if you financed this car, you would find a lease would cost less than your interest and depreciation.

Sadly, they do..you can go and buy a 114d (the worst car in their lineup), pay for the M-sport pack and get 3 M badges on your car. I own an M135i which barely justifies the M badge, but got mine debadged - the M is now a negative aspect, just like the AMG is for Merc. Totally devalued by allowing it on junk cars.

This is a good deal for this specific car - not for me though, its very very girly, an gets expensive by the time you add on basic options. Plus it's a diesel..eww.

Can you get this as a disability car if you have a blue badge?

Oh, those disableds. Always scrounging off the state. Moron.

The blue badge is so that people who can't walk long distances can park nearer to their destination. It's nothing to do with taking taxpayers money.

There's no reason at all why a disabled person can't be rich as all hell, but still have a blue badge to park closer to their destination.

Fact is, this implication of yours that disabled people don't and can't give back to society is as stupid as it is offensive. The blue badge scheme is exactly the kind of thing that lets disabled people live something closer to a normal life, and that's includes getting a good job, earning a shed-ton of money, and buying a goddamn Mercedes, if that's what they want to do.

So, yeah, you can put a blue badge in your sodding Mercedes. Dumbass.
