I bought a pack of these last year when they were on offer. I love Milwaukee tools and thought these would be great. They are not only not great, they are perhaps the worst PZ2 bits I've ever used! I would advise everybody to avoid them. They appear to be made out of butter or chocolate and will just disintegrate as soon as they try to turn a screw. If you need good impact bits that will last a while I recommend the Wera Impaktor sets - they last for ages - and I've also found the Erbauer set to be good and it's dirt cheap.

Pretty sure they've been this price for PZ2's for a while.

I comment this everytime these are posted, but don’t waste your money, these are terrible and will break much quicker than the old type. Sometimes after only a few screws. (edited)

What brand do you use for PZ2 bits? It’s something I’ve been trying to figure out for a while - which brand is the best value in terms of £ / usage. I have a set of PB Swiss bits, which are about 10x more expensive, but I’m not sure they last 10x longer. And it’s not just about usage, I like sets of bits that I can live with misplacing the odd one or two here and there.

Makita and dewalt seem similar quality to Milwaukee in my experience, but I’ve only used the black Milwaukee bits, not these ones.

I wonder if Wera are the best bang for your buck? You can get a 20 pack for a tenner, which works out pretty much double the cost of these, but maybe they last more than twice as long? (edited)

Was moving my decking so was gonna be doing a fair bit of screwing at the weekend (Oooh Matron) so picked up a box, I thought they couldn't be any worse than the DeWalt cos they looked cooler, Thought wrong, Worse than the DeWalt and they are pretty bad.
So far what with the DeWalt and now these, I'm just gonna get the cheapest I can get my hands on from now on as none of the so called named brands have been any good.

It's a big jum pin price but the 5 pack of 50mm Wera impact bits is worth getting. I drove thousands of screws before they were exhausted. Nothing else has come close. Best cheap ones are the Erbauer set.
