What version do you have now ?I think the new ones with the smart lid …What version do you have now ?I think the new ones with the smart lid means you don't have to swap lids anymore.

The 300UK, IIRC. It's the previous version with the 6 litre capacity. I almost immediately wished I'd gone for the larger one with a few more functions that has the pretty much the same footprint.

One of the major appeals of the newer ones is indeed the one lid not two feature. But I'm in no hurry, I'll wait until the price is right. It's what we do here!

I'm in exactly the same boat. I'm sure the extra function isn't something I'd miss. But I want it anyway without knowing why I want it! And I also am waiting for the price to drop but I have one of the older models that does everything I actually need to see me through to the price trigger coming up.

Showing as OOS for this one now, anyway.

Yeah I saw that one but it's smaller.
I was hoping to get the biggest size so I wouldn't have to use my oven as much then.

Yeah same I'm not even sure what that extra function is 😁 I keep meaning to compare them but I know the sizes are the same. (edited)

As far as I can tell it's a temperature probe. I can't remember the last time I used one and it adds quite an uplift in cost, so surely I can do without it? Can't I?

I went through it before and it's the probe like you say and the extra function is the "Steam roast" which says it can do a roast chicken, but I thought the 14 in 1 would do that as well ? But I'm guessing it just roasts it but doesn't steam roast

Ah, yes, you're right, there is this steam roast thing. I think mine already does a similar thing but with two functions and a lid swap. And maybe this function does it simultaneously, rather than sequentially?

Last year I bought ninja foodi £249. Then I found out it was £185 on Amazon. I emailed Ninja asking for refund, they kept telling me they have a policy to get back to me in 24 hours and they never did. I called them many times for 10 days and did not get any result. Never rely on a price match with this company.
