I have lost all my confidence in buy stuff from Asda. A scale with loose contact and the scale digital readings keep failing. A rice cooker which is very slow. A rice cooker from Lidl was much faster - about half of the time needed. And then the layer making the bowl non-stick is basically useless. 2nd time I used it, rice is already sticking to the bottom. Then a flask which burst into thousands of fragments because it overheated with hot water. I ask you... No, Asda is NOT for me!Another thing is that, the texture of the food cooked in a slow cooker is usually terrible.

Thank you i think this is not for me 👊

Also 3.5l size isn't that good, it's rather small...get something like 5-6l!
Please think 10x if you really need it and are going to use it.. They do their job- however not really that good, most of the time the food just comes out -mehh... + you have to wait a whole day before it finishes! You can cook the same stuff 5-10x faster and it will come out way better the regular way..
It's not really the best at anything + it takes MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF SPACE!
I'm still too cheap to throw mine out even it takes up half of a cupboard...

for 99.5% of the people who buys it - it will just end up sitting somewhere taking up space -never to be used...same as all of the other useless ''gadgets'' like these...

You look at the percentage of 1 stars compaired to 5 stars and buy a known brand that you like and free returns etc etc or your taking a bigger risk.

Samsung used to be better than it is for example so we are taking a gamble even with known brands. Is it a race to the bottom.

Think of all thoes who just returned or binned it without leaving neg feedback. I sell on Amazon and Ebay so know about ratings. People are busy nowadays and some simply dont have time. Esp if you have kids. Id rather pay a few quid more for a better product.

Take your point there on people being busy/not bothering with reviews/ratings - but how else do you decide if a product is good or not? Dont all manufacturers claim their product is the best thing that happened to mankind?

You can now buy liners for slow cooker

Why do you need a liner for a slow cooker. I have owned a slow cooker for over a decade and I have never had a problem with cleaning, just dip in water and wipe around with a cloth and rinse and dry. Because of the low heat nothing ever sticks and mine is not a top quality product, just a normal high, low keep warm settings.
