The Nintendo 3DS XL literally expands the fun of the Nintendo 3DS with a 90 percent larger screen, creating even more immersive entertainment experiences for users, delivering a wealth of games and video content that can be enjoyed on the go. All 3DS games are compatible with the 3DS XL, meaning you can experience all the fun of glasses-free 3D graphics and gameplay, bigger and more vibrant than ever!

The Nintendo 3DS XL features a longer battery life than the 3DS, and even includes a 4 GB SD card which you can use to store content such as downloadable games and videos from the Nintendo eShop.

Please note – the 3DS XL does not include an AC adaptor; this will be sold separately. However, the adaptor from the 3DS and DSi is compatible with the 3DS XL.

Pokemon X

Travel an all-new land with all new Pokemon such as Chespin the Grass Type, Fennekin the Fire type or Froakie the Water type! But you’ll also be greeted by some familiar faces too like Pikachu, Magikarp and Psyduck to capture and train, as you once again set out to become the best Pokemon trainer around.

Two notes: this is the old 3DS XL so can't use Amiibos and the game is pre-installed

There's a select few of these available in Smyths stores too for £99.99 with 1 year free warranty. Worth checking out stock online if you're going to buy one

Strange, been looking at 3DS deals for days; I thought £99 for this bundle was pretty much the norm till I discovered that almost all retailers are selling it £110 and upwards (most almost touching the 140 mark): from ebay to amazon, from the game to rakuten etc...
    Now the question is..
Is it worth it over the New 3DS XL?
Considering the lesser stereoscopic 3D, which is..
in the end the largest selling point to a 3DS - or at least should be (It is to me: I can never forget the first time I saw Ryu in proper 3D, like a lil' borrower embedded behind the glass like that, inside a console that fitted in the sweaty palms of my hands: truly awe inspiring moment and a landmark of the game industry. I LOVE 3D (pair that with the second best selling game console of all time: ta da! 3DS).)
The New 3DS also has that C stick - making games like Monster Hunter and Super Smash Bros even more enjoyable(Which is the whole point of gaming right?; to be enjoyable?).
Then theirs the extra Core on the processor, which allows you to run Xenoblade (One of the darn best games in existence), and makes the system a lot more snappier and more pleasant experience.
The new 3DS also has ZR and ZL buttons, which might mean more modern games may not be able to run on the old, said 3DS.
But dam - £179.99 for the new 3DS XL, without a charger or a game? Pretty what I paid for my premium Wii U, and that came with 3 games.
Basically, said 3DS XL with Pokemon X is around £80-100 cheaper then the New 3DS XL (Once you cater for buying a somewhat decent game (£19.99) and a charger (£6.99) )

    Decisions...Decisions...

You can buy a circle pad pro and have that second analog stick.

The c nub on the new 3ds is not the best.

personally I prefer the little nub that is the c stick. feels more natural to me.

I would advise a New 3DS XL over the old model purely for the increase in quality of the 3D.

New 3DS is ridiculously priced. I bought a PS4 for £200 so would hope the 3DS XL wpuld be about £50 RRP and the new 3DS XL £80RRP.

Paid £65 for the old 3DS XL (brand new) last week purely for homebrew and already own a 3DS and 3DS XL since launch. Not gonna spend anymore money in the 3DS ecosystem. Nintendo are con artists.

To be fair it's not mentioned in the title and can easily be missed by those who did look at that deal.

Plus he used black ops for the wiiu as the picture so it would be easy to scroll past.

I bought the old 3ds XL
    Then got a "new" 3ds
And just recently went to a new XL

The new model is so much better at the 3D it isn't even comparable.

And I bought mine within the last fortnight and the new XL is selling for approx. £140 new and maybe less on preowned.

The C stick is good but I would have preferred another circle pad instead as the stick can be fiddly and slippery.
