Thanks OP
Without a customs union or some kind of other agreement, yes it will. You can add 20% onto the prices and if import fees aren’t paid upfront, you’ll have a carrier charge of up to £16 added onto that too.
I've just now got a notification to say that biddy listed this deal. Who do I contact about it please? This happens regularly
thanks (edited)
I know, I came here to vote cold and it had already expired.
Was only refering to changing prices. Wasn’t a whole debate.
That is pretty much expected really. Switch is hot in Japan right now. Will be interesting to see how well it does across the rest of the world in comparison.
Probably got shipped from an UK warehouse that has Labo stock
Cheers. Will add to the Op.
Thanks for the info. Very useful.
Also useful for people to know that while Brexit might not be exhilarating, it has potentially huge implications for cross border trade and the price consumers pay when purchasing from EU countries. In particular it would mean far fewer deals like this posted on this site.
On Labo I don't actually expect it to do that well outside Japan, though may well be proven wrong!
Suitable from age 6/7
... we are not going to be stopped from buying from the EU... there are plenty of countries around the world that are not in the EU..
Brilliant.
Hahaha, you clown.
It will. One of MANY reasons brexit is a bad idea.
Like with imports from outside the EU into the UK, the government could levy import duties on the customer/recipient in the UK, hoping to discourage imports from certain unfriendly countries.
Import VAT most definitively will be charged on goods imported above the gift allowance if there is no customs union. In that scenario the seller shouldn't charge their own VAT but that is not always the case.
Check out the return address on your parcel label. It’ll probably have the Dunfermline address on it which means it was shipped from the UK. Has happened to myself in the past too. (edited)
