sorted byThis patch is big for Nintendo, as it includes a new custom renderer which looks very swish in the screenshots. And also we get capes, finally. Still no word on Multiplayer though...

Patch hasn't dropped on Switch yet, can take up to a week to get Nintendo's All-Clear but the expedition runs for the next few weeks. Also, if you're looking for a head start and don't mind listening to some inane gobsh**e for 3 hours a day, there are Twitch Drop rewards daily from today to Monday. Once you get a couple of hours into the game on a new save you can get access to all these rewards on any save belonging to the linked Nintendo ID.

This game chugs a bit and crashes a lot on Nintendo. It chugs a bit and crashes a lot on all platforms. It can get a bit samey after a while. But it's mesmerising stuff, they are constantly adding new bits to it and scratches a bit of the Frontier Elite 2 / Wing Commander / Freelancer itch you've been ignoring for a few decades. Worth picking up at this price.
I'd guess because you own it on another platform already, and/or prefer to play with better graphics at home?
