This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Update - moved to deals as now instore for 75p so cheaper than Greggs

The Vegan Sausage roll is now available from the instore bakeries of 624 stores nationwide

Called the Tesco Meat Free Sausage Roll it is selling for 75p & it's being describe by Tesco as "puff pastry filled with a soy-based Lincolnshire style sausage, seasoned with sage and onion"

Should be delicious if their packs of Meat Free 30 Mini Frozen Sausage Rolls are anything to go by, these are a firm favourite with my kids

Priced at 75p each & looks like they may be available in larger packs for the freezer too - will update when all is revealed

I'm happy for all you guys, it's tough to be vegan and I could never do it myself.

It's good to see more option of restaurants and fast food for those making the sacrifice

My point is I thought the last thing vegans would want is something that …My point is I thought the last thing vegans would want is something that tastes like meat, you know, being opposed to eating it

I will attempt to answer this genuinely. Most people are vegans because they either don't like animals being killed for food or they want a healthier diet. Vegan food tasting like meat (or attempting to) does not go against any reason for being vegan, in fact it may be more appealing to ex-meat eaters. For a small amount of vegans meat tasting substitutes may remind them of animals etc but I think for the most part, they're satisfied in that they've got a nice product without harming any animals. Hope I helped

Sad thing is, it's not really a joke though, my old manager became a vegan, he was a nice guy, liked him. Suddenly he's posting anti meat posts all over his facebook page, private messages and all sorts, had to un-follow him so I didn't see all his meat is murder posts constantly.
Nothing worse than people trying to force their beliefs onto others.

Veganism in this country is like POSH habit or show off ... Even if people want to adapt vegan diet or food, there is no such incentives from government or traders or retailers, neither from health services too. As all know the benefits of having vegan diet or food. That's only reason I'm vegetarian... Because I can't afford vegan restaurant and food ! Simple
Meet the vegan Jesus

Could be worse, he could come knocking on your door every other week telling you about his lord and saviour.

100% of the vegans he knows did it

Never said all people do it, but you can't deny a large number of vegans are like this.

I get 2 little old ladies come knocking every few months to talk about that, bit annoying but I don't mind so much as they don't push it, always say something like "can we talk to you about god/faith today etc" , I say no thanks, they wish me a good day and go onto the next house.

Course you can deny it. Large number is pretty subjective to start with. You also have to figure out what percentage of vegans doing it would make it a large enough number to really justify saying that it isn't really a poorly done old joke.

If there are 100 million vegans and you know 5 that do it then that is not a large number.
If there are 100 million vegans and say 30 million do it then you could argue that is a fairly substantial number.
Why would you want a meat tasting (I assume) vegan sausage roll? Not in general, I just can't work out why they would make vegan food taste like cooked flesh

So a post on facebook is trying to force beliefs onto others but coming round and actually knocking on your door in real life is not pushing it?

You have a strange line but i guess it is yours to decide.

I clearly must be doing something wrong, as a vegan on minimum wage I feel so posh now, eating my baked beans!

For lunch maybe. I guess you could have it for dinner with chips and beans though.

you don't see a difference between someone constantly posting links about animal slaughter, meat is murder and various other things along those lines, and someone knocking on your door and politely asking if you liked to talk about god(or not) and leaving when you say no.

Define decent, Still won more trophies since Fergie retired than Lfc, Chelsea, Spurs etc.. So regardless, I'd consider us decent. Clearly we've had a fall from grace and are nowhere near as good as we need to be.

I tried a reply, with similar content but a lot more sarcasm but it got removed.

I don't know why such an obvious thing seems to be beyond some people.

'cos they like everything about meat, apart from the fact that you have to kill an animal to get it.

Pretty simple, really.
