Some very good prices here and be suprised if a couple of them won't be beaten on Black Friday.

The Ooni Fyra 12 Wood Pellet Pizza Oven is the successor to the Ooni 3 which was the world’s first portable pizza oven fuelled by wood pellets. The Fyra 12 is the entry level pizza oven in the Ooni range & is fuelled using an innovative gravity-fed pellet hopper system that automatically feeds through hardwood pellets for effortless cooking. The oven takes approximately 15 minutes to get up to temperature but may need 5-10 additional minutes to achieve the right flame & stone temperature (at least 752°F (400°C)) & will cook a truly great wood-fired pizza in just 60 seconds. There is also a range of Ooni cast iron pans & griddles available that can be used to cook a wider selection of dishes including meat, seafood & vegetables.

There are lots of recipes and guides available on the Ooni website & their YouTube channel offering inspiration & top tips.

Features:

  • Fully insulated powder-coated carbon steel shell to hold in heat and provide the required temperatures for 60-second pizza and more.
  • Collapsible legs for easy transport and storage. The non-slip feet keep Ooni Fyra steady and keep your surfaces scratch-free.
  • Chimney vent for quick flame adjustments. Leave open for optimized airflow. Close for reduced airflow draw and smaller flame.
  • 10" Pizza Stone baking board custom-made from cordierite stone for optimized heat retention and the perfect pizza base.
  • Viewing hole on oven door so that you can check the flame output without removing the door.
  • Slot on the bottom of oven opening for resting the door while you add, remove or rotate your food.

The Ooni Karu 12 Multi-Fuel Pizza Oven offers Ooni cooking at another level but is still portable. The oven can be fuelled by kindling sized hardwood (not pellets) & charcoal with the option of purchasing a separate burner to cook with gas. The fuel options create different cooking conditions - wood is great for foods that need fast cooking times such as thin pizza's, steak, fish and vegetables. Charcoal gives you a base temperature without excess flame so is ideal for deeper pizza's, baking bread & the option of cooking meat low & slow. A charcoal/wood mix offers the best of both worlds with a steady base temperature from the charcoal the addition of wood for a burst of heat and wood-fired flavour. The addition of a gas burner offers control, speed & ease for a quick result. Whatever fuel you choose to use, the Karu relies on good air circulation to reach optimum temperatures & has a number of vents to control the temperature by managing the fuel burn.

Features:

  • Ceramic fibre-insulated brushed 430 stainless steel shell to hold in heat and provide the required temperatures for 60-second pizza and more.
  • Collapsible legs for easy transport and storage. The non-slip feet keep Ooni Karu steady and keep your surfaces scratch-free.
  • Custom-designed fuel tray maximizes airflow & delivers a powerful blast of searing flame – load it up with real wood or charcoal, with no excess ash to clean.
  • Chimney draws heat through Ooni Karu when cooking with wood & charcoal. The chimney’s quick release feature allows you to set up and pack down with ease. The chimney vent controls the total airflow through the oven body and can be adjusted while wearing heat resistant gloves.
  • Fuel hatch is fully insulated to hold in heat. Remove when adding wood and charcoal to the burner.
  • Rear vent cap covers the rear of Ooni Karu when cooking with wood or charcoal to control flames.
  • 15mm (0.6″) extra thick pizza stone baking board custom-made from cordierite stone for optimized heat retention and the perfect pizza base.
  • Viewing hole on oven door so that you can check the flame output without removing the door.
  • Slot on the bottom of oven opening for resting the door while you add, remove or rotate your food.

Absolutely love my Koda. Gas is the way to go too, wood is nice and all, but the pellets are a giant faf. Helps that it takes the same gas container our BBQ does too. Gonna fire it up tonight as well! Got it in march in a sale, and we've done about 20 pizzas on it already. My kid has his birthday party last month, and I made pizza for everyone and everyone thought it was amazing pizza. I use the recipe that comes in the booklet with the oven, and I use tesco finest 00 pizza flour.

Try Caputo Nuvola flour, you won't regret it

Cracking deals pitting they don't ship to northern ireland or I'd have bought a koda! This deal is better than second hand prices over here. Heat anyway! (edited)

Great deal. I've got a Fyra, pellets add a bit of novelty factor and makes it a bit more of an event. Gets to temperature really quickly so no faffing really. Makes great pizzas. I've always got some Ooni dough balls in the freezer.

Ditto about going gas over pellets. I have a fyra and will be selling it at some point for a koda. Can't do more than 4 pizzas before getting frustrated and annoyed. Love the pizzas though!

I was getting slightly frustrated with the fyra, especially with it dropping temp when you had several pizzas to cook and the wood pellets clogging up the hopper.

Then I saw a hack on the internet - you simply point a rechargeable USB fan at the back of the firebox to keep shoving more oxygen in.

Honestly, the difference it makes is amazing. Gets up to temp twice as fast as before, and gets much hotter. Also no worries with temp dropping with more pizzas.

Very effective upgrade for less than a tenner.

Had my Koda for close to four years and has been faultless. Still on the same gas canister… pizza paddle and peel are a must! Makes a great pizza in no time and great for when guests come over

I had the Frya and not a fan. Pellets are a pain to maintain temp. I sold it and went gas (Gozney) and haven’t looked back since.

Where is the best place to get gas for these?

I'm getting 600 Deg with a Weber charcoal BBQ using lump wood charcoal. All you need is a pizza stone if you have the bbq already. What it taught me at minimal outlay is I can't be bothered to make the pizzas etc as the convenience of a frozen one was the draw even though homemade are much nicer. Can't use the Weber in the winter though.

Some good deals here, we have the Koda 12 and it's used at least once a week either for Pizza or with the sizzling pan. Paid roughly the same for ours in Dobbies.

Might see other garden centres drop their prices on them now.

Start small and have a few go's before entertaining. Also check out the ooni video's the one on launching is useful.

Karu 12 is great - Charcoal in first with a bit of kindling on top just as its up to temp and before the 'launch'.
Really easy especially with natural firelighters. Brought pre-made dough and sauce to start with which were both great. Pizza every Friday evening at mo, ace!

This Is my plan ! You had no issues with temperature using this method ?

I got a Koda 12 last week. Absolutely awesome little ovens. I am still practising with the dough but what I am making is easily restaurant standard.

You have stay with your pizza while cooking it as they are very hot.

Worth investing in a pizza peel too and an infra red temperature gauge.

Kinda fun making your own dough, but shop bought works really well too.

No mention of warranty on this site... Direct from ooni says 5 year. Any insights anyone? Experience with this store?
    Chris_Nacca's avatar
You can register any ooni product through that ooni website. So you can still get 5 years.

Damn, the Koda 12 is sold out now

Super tempted by the G3 Ferrari instead since it's currently a good price (~£100) even though I know the pizza will be inferior to this

Darn it, why do I always spot koda deals too late, been on the look out for one for a couple of years now!

anyone had any dispatch emails yet? I ordered the folding table Friday morning, money is still pending and nothing dispatched yet. Getting a little worried as the table is out of stock everywhere including the manufacturer.
    kevcrawfy's avatar
Mines arrived yesterday, dispatch email was in junk.
