All of the DLC has already been released for the game, this is one episode of the Fate of Atlantis. There are 3 DLC packs with 3 episodes in each.

Think there has been some confusion with this as the freebie is called "Fields of Elysium" which is the first episode in the collection of "The Fate of the Atlantis" DLC

I was like that with the Origins, finished the main story last year and finished the dlcs only last month. It felt repetitive, boring actually. But Odyssey is different. There are so many side quests bounties, fetch quests, mercenaries, timed quests and naval quests, you can get distracted from the main quests for long time 😁the fighting is much better as, the world looks more beautiful too. It's a massive improvement compared to Origins which was wow when it came out...

Yeah, Episode 1 mate, as in the title. I've popped the link in the description. I'll move it up a bit

The catch is only part one is free, and the other two parts will never be collectively cheaper than the whole Fate of Atlantis trilogy when it goes on sale next summer & following Christmas.
So basically it's to hook you into the story and tempt you into buying the other two parts for full price when they are released. I'm an Assassin's Creed fan and it follows on from and capitalises on their usual summer and Christmas holidays marketing practises.
Heat for being free though! 🔥 - but see right through your marketing ploy Ubisoft.

Fate of Atlantis is the 3 part bundle. Only part one is free

You don't have to get it via Ubistore. It's on microsoft store as well.

Absolutely loved this game sunk a good 100 hours into it's, been putting off the season pass due to price, hopefully this means overtime all 3 episodes will he free.

Nice!, I look forward to playing that circa 2021 because I wanted to fit in RDR2 between them. That said I do LOVE the exploration in these Ubisoft games, so not ruling out playing them back-to-back. (edited)

Cheers! Though for Steam it never lets me get DLC if I don't own the base game yet, very annoying.

Any ideas how to claim PS4 version? DLC is on sale until next week so seems odd they would offer the first episode for free as well.

Yeah it wasn't as I kept refreshing the "Fate of Atlantis " but it kept showing as £9.99, then I realised that's basically a DLC pack that'll give you access to all the episodes as they become available
